We did not purchase a Subaru this time BUT. .. This was the main Subaru dealership we worked with when deciding between a CR-V and a Forester. They had the best stock at the time and their hours .. We will absolutely be back if we end up getting a Subaru in the future. Jamal worked with us and provided all information we needed. He was no pressure, allowed us to see used Hondas on the lot to help us make our decision, and we felt he was working hard to get us the car we wanted in the timeframe we needed. Everyone else was also very friendly. The waiting area was spacious and stocked with waters and snacks. More

I am enjoying my new Crosstreck. Super cute and stylish. Tim Evans of Germain Subaru was my sales agent. I highly recommend him. Super friendly, willing to listen to what I wanted/needed. I felt like I he was interested in my needs above anything else and was willing to work with me on a trade for my Camry that satisfied us both. I will be honest I came there from "another" Subaru dealership where I felt like I was taking the sales lady's time. Look I don't beg people to take my money, especially when your talking new car dollars! It was absolutely the opposite at Germain Subaru The entire staff from the Sales Agent to the Sales Manager to the Finance Director. Each and everyone were very professional, friendly, NEVER PUSHY and made my whole experience painless and easy going! Tim was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Took time to explain all details. The only down side....(there's always one right..?) was the Perma Plate they treated my car with inside and out, this added about $600 to my bottom line. (they get you to sign that paper at closing...after the fact). It's not that I wont be glad to have the extra protection...it's just that I didn't know about it or approve the application prior to it being done. I wasn't given the option to say yay or nay to that treatment and it should have been offered as an option in my opinion. If there were half star options they would have gotten 4.5 but like I said the Perma Plate isn't a bad thing and the staff certainly are deserving of 5 stars. Thanks Germain Subaru!!! Once I get the "newness" broke in I will update to let you know more about the vehicle itself. More
I was there last week for oil changed (my place to go for oil change) and unfortunately after few days we noticed there was oil leaked due to the filtered not fully tightened. So the next day we called to schedule for appointment and good thing was accommodated with my specified time which I'm glad. However, it was such an inconvenience for me driving there for nearly an hour without being compensation for the inconvenience. More

UPDATE: I had a great experience working with Bennie who worked very hard with me and his team to figure out what happened and to resolve the issue. I would go back knowing that the GM wants to provide the best experience for their customers. ORIGINAL POST: Very bad experience with dishonest service. I took my Outback to get serviced and was informed that I needed my rear brake pads replaced for $494. I informed them that they were replaced at Germain 20k miles ago and the response was, "Oh I didn't look at the history but I will check with the tech." After checking with the tech he said that my brake pads were at 4mm even though the inspection sheet indicated that they were above 5mm and that they only recommend replacement at 3mm. My question is why would they tell me I needed to replace when I was above their 3mm threshold? I talked with the manager and he told me that this is a known issue (up-selling) that he is trying to address. It's horrible that a business that people NEED to trust are out scamming people at a time when so many people are out of the job. If you must go here, be vigilent and ask questions. More

Larry, my salesman here, was intelligent about the brand and answered all of my questions friendly and expertly and even brought up things I hadn’t thought about. The informative approach was a nice change from the high-pressure sales that had me on edge from other dealerships. I appreciated that so much. And even when an accidental internet blast went out to all dealerships in town when looking for info on the internet, when and I got some hilariously generated “I can beat that deal” automatic responses with no follow-up, (haha!) I didn’t hesitate in buying my Subaru from this dealership one bit. (Although, I would watch out for the finance guy selling you into anything. He did me. He’s really good.) Overall though - love my new Subaru! and loved the experience. I look forward to continuing a relationship with this dealership too. I think they get it. At least for now. I’ll be back to update this if they don’t. 😉👌 More
