I had been looking for a car for over 4 months. The option of new was not even considered until we ended up at Germain Nissan. My sales person "Robert" was very professional. He spent time going over all advantages of the Sentra. Although I really liked the Sentra, I started looking at other manufacturers "Honda and Toyota". I went to the other dealers at the end of business hours. Honda was too busy trying to shut their doors. They met me at the door with 15 minutes left in the day and said "Come back tommorrow". I knew this dealer was not getting my business. On the other hand, Toyota stayed open 1 hour past close to discuss the Corolla. Their customer service was great! By the way, the store I went to was Germain Toyota. I knew I had the right dealer. Even though this was going to be my car, it was what my wife wanted at this point. We test drove both cars and did a side by side comparison at the Germain Nissan store. At the end of the day, both cars were very similar. Style, price and recall notices sold the car. I was worried the recalls Toyota had been dealing with would effect the resale value of the car. The customer service was great at each store. Since my purchase, I have had my car in for maintence, FREE washings and a couple minor repairs. The service staff has always been easy to deal with. Someone has always been around to shuttle me to work and back when I do not have a ride. Overall, Germain dealers do an outstanding job! I will be purchasing another car from Germain and I speak highly of their service and quality when somebody asks. Your customers are your best sales people. I sell Germain to everyone who asks! More

This tag sales approach just shows me that this dealership has no integrity whatsoever. I couldn't just walk out because they still had my keys to the car I wanted to trade in. As soon as they gave me back my keys I went to Infiniti of Columbus, where I was treated with respect, and bought a car. More
I recently bought a used car from this dealership. The used car manager (Buddy)was very unprofessional and tried to do business by scaring me. He also lied many things and tried to make me guilty on the spot. He pressured me to make a desicion on the spot. They promised to take care of several items on my car but once the car is sold, they never took care of anything nor returned my calls. The service is horrible and the service manager, Mike was very rude. Never go to this dealership. Just avoid and buy your vehicle somewhere else where you will be treated like a customer and with respect. I feel that Buddy with his cunning tactics will drive this dealership out of business soon. The entire team believes that they can fool every customer who walks in to the dealership. Andy was a little better but can't do much since he is in sales. Beware and avoid this dealership. I have bought 7 cars in the past, but never experienced such a horrible experience. In the future, I will never go to this dealer for any service or repairs. Do a favor for yourself and AVOID Germain Nissan. More
THIS WAS A HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE! I went there because I saw a Honda Civic for sale. The first time I walked in they tried to pressure me into signing papers by saying the couple sitting behind u because I saw a Honda Civic for sale. The first time I walked in they tried to pressure me into signing papers by saying the couple sitting behind us was there for the same car. "But if I sign first I get it." I didn't sign in five minutes and then they said they sold the car. Two days later, I get a call saying it came back because of financing and they wanted to work with the payments. To make a long story short. I sold my car, bought the civic at Germain and took it home. While there, they said the battery had died and the CD player needed the anti-theft code. They refused to do it the next day and I had to call and wait three days for Honda to give me the code. After I got the code, I saw the CD player didn't work. (They prob. knew that and that is why they disconnected the battery) My salesman said sorry, it's as is. A few days later they called and wanted me to come in. They then told me my payments were going to be over $150.00 to $200.00 more than I had signed on to at a 13% interest increase, and if I didn't like it I had to search banks myself to find a better rate. This place is a joke. The man, that originally financed me,Paul Shue, came back later and said he was just the internet sales manager. My boyfriend put it best. Paul would be more successful if he was a weatherman. Completely inaccurate numbers! Luckily, they didn't hold up their part of the bargain and I was able to get out of the contract. However, I'm still waiting for my down payment which they wouldn't give me there. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP. I waisted three weeks sitting in there with one problem after another. When I took the car back the financing manager said, "they really dropped the ball on this deal, and "it was done wrong." Now I'm left with no car and waiting for my money to come. More
This is the second Nissan I have purchased from Germain. They have a friendly staff, and they don't try tricks. I dealt with Alan for this second Nissan and he was excellent. After being jerked around by Dennis Autopoint earlier in the day, it was refreshing to be listened to and dealt with well. I told Alan that I wanted a 2008 Nissan Sentra S with manual transmission, and didn't need other perks. He looked in the system, said he had a few he could get shortly, and let's look at price. He evaluated my trade in, came back and said "We can give you $17,000 for your trade, this is the price for the Sentra, and we are at a monthly payment of roughly $280-$290 for 60 months, depending on the interest rate you get." I told him I really needed to be down around $250 for 60 months. He went right back, discussed options with the finance people for a while, came back and said "You've got a car." They upped my trade to $17,700, gave me an incentive that wasn't slated to start until the next month, and ordered the car. The car arrived the next night, two days ahead of schedule, I went in, and the paperwork was in order, as promised. Completed the deal and walked out with my new car. They were a pleasure to deal with. While I was waiting for my Sentra, they also gave me a 2008 Altima to drive until my car came in. More

I had a horrible experience with this dealer. I went there initially because of the reputation of Germain in the Columbus area but was very disappointed. Alan initially seemed alright, but then him and the finance guy were trying to get me to do anything to buy a car. They offered me an incredibly low quote for my trade-in and acted like it would be an inconvenience to them to take it and kept telling me to sell it myself. Then they would not negotiate at all from the sticker price but tried to get me to do things like put a down payment on a credit card or post-date a check. Shady! The worst part is that they ran my credit, and told me they sent it to Nissan and I was approved for a recent college grad program with a low rate and cash back. It turns out they flat out lied to me and had never even sent my information to Nissan. Extra shady! They wasted 3 hours of my time! I wen to another dealer who offered me $2,000 more for my trade and immediately offered me the car I wanted at invoice with no hassle or negotiations. so I know it was doable. More
