John Rix called earlier this week to let me know he had a great opportunity for me to move from my 2009 Maxima to a 2011 Maxima with with little or no change in my lease payment. As my lease had another 14 m great opportunity for me to move from my 2009 Maxima to a 2011 Maxima with with little or no change in my lease payment. As my lease had another 14 months to run I was interested, but unsure how this could possibly be a win/win situation. This experience was the best car buying (leasing) experience I have ever had and I have been buying cars for a long time. John Rix was outstanding in his knowledge and handling of the transaction and I was amazed at how easy he made it all happen. I have had experience with Germain Nissan before but this is the best experience I have ever had with any dealership. I must also say I was treated with a friendly and dedicated committment to maker me feel welcome and answered all my questions and could not have made this experience more enjoyable. I regret I do not remember the finance managers name but his first name was Carl and he too was outstanding in making sure I understood all the details of this transaction. It was a pleasure. I gave this dealership a "great" in all categories except price and probably should have given price a "great" too because they did allow me more on my trade in than originally agreed. Mike Banton, the sales consultant, met my requirements right off the bat. My requirements were: friendly but not over bearing, knowledgeable but not tedious, and reasonable. I bought a Nissan Versa 1.8 S hatchback. I was able to test drive it while alone in the car which I appreciated. When it came time to purchase, and I was ready to pay cash, Mike pointed out that they took $500 off if I took the Nissan 0% interest for three years payment plan. I took it. Nick Zuchegno made the paperwork a cinch. He offered extended warranty options but did not pressure me about them. If you are looking at Nissan products, I highly recommend this dealership. They are expanding their showroom right now (July 2011) so the lot is a bit broken up, but when its done I believe it will be great. We attend to return to this dealership when the 2012 vehicles come out. We will be looking at the Juke. More

They don't beat around the bush, they come at you with their best price, which is usually the lowest around. The whole dealership makes you feel at home. It's now the first dealership that we go to when shopping for a car. If we feel that we need to compare, then we would do so, but haven't found the need for that. I had an absolutely positive experience with this dealership from the moment I arrived. The sales consultant that assisted me in selecting and purchasing a car was very helpful and knowledgable dealership from the moment I arrived. He listened to what I was interested in with my purchase and took the time to explain how certain models or options would fulfill my wishlist/needlist instead of merely pushing me in a direction. From the process of selecting which model I was interested in, to the test drive, and finally the final demonstration of the car’s features before I drove off in my new Maxima, he thoroughly explained the features and functionality of the vehicle. One particular aspect of the sales process that impressed me was his focus on not only features and abilities I had specifically mentioned but also those that could be inferred based on previous conversations about my points of interest. To me this conveyed a sense that he was actually interested in selling me a car I will love rather than a car they just want to get off the lot. I had an equally positive experience with the finance department. The finance manager I worked with made the process of getting financed painless as well as worked to find a much better APR than I was initially expecting. When it came time to discuss various add-ons such as GAP insurance, extended warranties, and protection programs I never got the impression he was simply going for an up-sell. He took the time to explain each item, the benefits they offer, and then went the extra mile by offering an explanation on what conditions would be necessary for the benefits to be worth it or likely to be used. The entire conversation centered around giving me the information I needed to make an informed decision, not around simply getting me to sign a contract. He also took the time to explain exactly what the warranties covered, rather than a simple blanket “bumper to bumper” statement. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Nissan. The staff I worked with provided an excellent car buying experience which centered around providing their expertise so I could make my own informed decision rather than trying to steer me in a particular direction. Buying a car is a lengthy process, but everyone we dealt with at Germain was polite and the atmosphere was one of "let's have fun while we're here!" More
