I would normally never take the time to write anything like this, however, my experience with Germain was so horrible I felt compelled to let someone know. We wanted to buy a new Nissan Altima. Our sales like this, however, my experience with Germain was so horrible I felt compelled to let someone know. We wanted to buy a new Nissan Altima. Our sales person, Alan, was not friendly during most of the deal, he wasn't really unfriendly either, rather, he was there to process a transaction, absolutely no salesmanship/personality what so ever. Alan had drafted the paper work for us to sign, to buy the new car, we had asked him to go over all the numbers that were on the page, he become very frustrated, let out a long sigh and was visibly irritated. Within a minute or two, we asked if he had called for the payoff on our trade, once again his entire body language was irritation, in a frustrated tone, he said he hadn't done it because he was going over the numbers with us, that he had already gone over. At that point we decided we didn't have to buy a car from Alan. We were about to spend $30k on a new car, that Alan would profit from, and he was treating us horribly. I was pretty stunned. I explained to him we were done and his "excuse" was; "I'm a New Yorker"... truly unbelievable, so because he's originally from another part of the country, he's allowed to act like a complete a hole and I'm supposed to deal with it? Nope. After we left the deanship I left the sales manager a message explaining the deal had blown up in the 11th hour and I felt it was a shame. He, Marc Cox, never called me back. Once again, I was stunned. Marc could have saved that deal if he would have picked up the phone and called us back. The next day we drove to a rival dealer and bought the car, Ricart Nissan. We had an absolute awesome experience with them. So, here's my jab back at Germain for being incredibly unprofessional and unfriendly. More

Let me start by saying, I REALLY like Nissan products. My parent's favorite cars have been a maxima and an altima. Long story short, Germain Nissan was an incredible experience from start to finish.That being said, I called Ricart Nissan a few days ago to get some information on a few cars. The rep on the phone said that they have to deal with people in the showroom first, then they'll give me a call back. As much as I understood this, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I was in a situation where I needed a car quickly and had every intention of buying a car that evening. I wanted to get some figures over the phone, go in to sign some papers, and be done with it. That's where Daryl Erden at Germain came in. I was referred to Daryl from a friend. We were actually able to complete a transaction over the phone and through a series of text messages. I started out with some interest in a Pathfinder or a Maxima. I told him what I needed and how much I was willing to spend to get it. Instead of talking me into something that I was not comfortable spending, Daryl took the time to find the right car for me and my family. We ended up in a brand new Altima. My fiance loves it and it's perfect for everything we need. After we took care of the deal itself, through texting, we went up to the show room to sign the papers. I was impressed with how clean and professional everything was. I was used to other dealerships that are either not clean, or it seems like you're walking into a TV commercial for a circus...or both! My car was being detailed and prepared. All I needed to do was sign some papers. Did I say papers? I meant futuristic desk-screen of documents. This was the best part! Karl, the finance manager, took us into his office where everything was so streamlined that there were hardly any actual papers to sign. Just e-signatures on a flat screen built into his desk. The whole process of signing papers for a lease took about 10 minutes and we were ready to go. Which was great, considering my wife had just finished working a 12-hour shift at the hospital. Thank you Daryl and Karl for making this the hands-down best car buying experience I've ever had. I know that my next car will be a Nissan from Germain. By the way, if you read this and go in there, ask for Daryl. And tell them Mike sent you. I get $100 gift card for the referral. You can too! More
