Nice sales man, poor support and service from management. I was pleased with my experience with Alan Friedman when I purchased a 2014 Nissan Leaf this past weekend. He was very informed about the leaf and I I was pleased with my experience with Alan Friedman when I purchased a 2014 Nissan Leaf this past weekend. He was very informed about the leaf and I enjoyed learning about all the features on the SL. He is the Leaf expert for this dealer. He knows the car well and I appreciated the time he took to help me learn about this electric vehicle. Al was the best part of my buying experience and I appreciate his honesty and straightforward attitude. As part of y purchase, the dealer agreed to re-spray the bumper which had gouges through the paint to the plastic. They also promised to touch up some chips down to the metal on the 1/4 panels, upgrade the TCU (for $100, or half price), and provide 2 keys (standard for CPO) Yesterday, I went to pick up the car after the "we owe you" servicing was completed, and the paint repair was terrible. They completely missed one spot on the rear 1/4 panel they were supposed to touch up. The respray on the bumper does match at all. One color here, another color two inches over. Not attempt to blend the colors, or make it look like one The paint is rough in spots, they painted over little bits now imbedded in the paint, there are black specks in the clear coat, and a texture over the whole area. There was over spray on the window and the tail light. The service manager, Greg Saylor, agreed "this was not his best work", referring to their mobile paint guy. They said they would re-do the work, and it would be ready tomorrow. Today, I go to pick up the car, the paint looks the same, but the car has been detailed. The paint was not blended, the same roughs spots. I asked to talk to someone. John Germain, the general manager came out to talk to me. I tell him why I'm unhappy with the work and he says "I can't see what you're talking about". Not "well that's as good as we could get it", or "we can talk to him about this quality issue". He just kept saying their mobile paint guy does good work, and there is nothing wrong with what he sees. I'm color blind and I'm not a color expert. It's plain as day this paint color doesn't match and wasn't blended to match the rest of the car. They made no effort to correct this mistake. I'm very disappointed in the level of honesty from top management. I'm disappointed that I was owed something that I thought made it worth purchasing this vehicle and now I feel cheated. I feel like they had no motivation to make this right, or to do the work to an acceptable standard. I purchased the car under the promise the bumper would be fixed and now it looks worse. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. More
