Within an eightteen (18) month period I purchased two (2) Mazda 6's. Damon was responsible for each of those purchases. Throughout the year of my initial purchase Damon periodically contacted me to inquire if I was still pleased & satisified with my new car. The most impressive aspect of his communications was the personal touch. They weren't generic formatted emails. Each expressed genuine concern. Whatever question(s) or concern(s) I might have presented, Damon handled the situation professionally, expeditiously, and he never once referred me to another department. Simply put; he made the purchasing experience a pleasure and ensured I remained connected with Germain Mazda not so much as a customer, but more so as a family member! It truly was and remains a pleasure doing business with Mazda as a result of Damon Shorterage. More
We shopped all of the Mazda dealerships in Columbus but came back to Germain because of our initial interactions with Terry Johnson. I've never had a better experience purchasing a new car. Terry was able to answer every question and never made us feel rushed or pressured. The dealership was super busy when we were there but he kept his focus on us. Before we went to search for our car we mentally prepared ourselves for the typical pushy salesman that just wants to get you into a car and forget about you. However, we were happily surprised when working with Terry Johnson at your Germain Mazda dealership on Morse Rd. He was great and genuinely understood the value of customer service. I will recommend this dealership because of the service he provided and will be back if we ever need another car. We, also, enjoyed speaking with your Financial Advisor (can't remember his name). He was very straightforward and went above and beyond to make sure we understood/felt comfortable with everything we signed. All and all, it was a very pleasant experience and wasn't filled with the typical stress that car searching usually entails. This was only made possible by your staff. I, also, told Terry that we purchased my last car at the Dennis Dealership on Morse and the experience was so unpleasant that I will never go back. I had an outstanding experience buying my latest new (used) car from Germain Mazda. I had initially called the dealership to ask questions about a specific car I found online. I had the pleasure of talking to salesman Terry Johnson. He answered my questions quickly and efficiently so I decided to make the trip in to meet with Terry and see the car. The entire buying experience was smooth and stress free. Terry was down to earth and very professional. The car I purchased was traded in just a day or two earlier and the dealership was given only one key. When I asked about the second key, they told me they would take a look and get back to me. Terry followed up quickly letting me know that they were unable to come up with a second key from the seller. Terry and Germain Mazda went the extra mile to have a second key made for me. To be honest, it was a shock! In this day and age of generally poor customer service, I expected that because the purchase was complete, I would be stuck having to purchase a second key myself. Terry Johnson and Germain Mazda will be MY dealership going forward. They made me feel like part of their family and I appreciate that very much! More
My wife first visited Germain Mazda to look for a particular late-model used car for us. She was greeted by Product Specialist Terry Johnson who made her feel welcome. Since I was not able to be there he allowed my wife to drive the car home to show me. The next day we both drove the car back to the dealership to negotiate the sale. We only had two minor issues with the car. Both issues were quickly resolved by Terry and the Sales Manager to our satisfaction. We then met with the F&I (Finance)/Used Car Director Sonny Sosniak who was very personable, factual and informative. Sonny went the extra mile to explain the excellent finance, service and maintenance options/levels available in a low-pressure way. In the end we both left Germain Nissan with the car we wanted having paid the best market price available and with very comforting service and maintenance plans. Germain is now the first place we will go for future vehicle needs. Thank you Terry, Sonny and the Germain Mazda Team for a great experience! More
Excellent experience. I knew what I wanted, told Terry Johnson where I needed to be, and he and the Mazda team made it happen. Terry was not pushy or the stereotypical car salesman. They even drove to Indiana to intercept a new delivery of the exact model I wanted, and matched the lowest price of their competitor. Their facility is new and modern, and the sales team has been with the Germain family for years. They know how to treat the customer right so they will become repeat customers. I highly recommend them over the other local Mazda dealers, with whom I did not have such a good experience during my research phase. More

After doing a substantial amount of internet research, I settled on looking at a new Mazda as my next vehicle after driving a pickup for the past 5 years. The more difficult decision was choosing a dealers settled on looking at a new Mazda as my next vehicle after driving a pickup for the past 5 years. The more difficult decision was choosing a dealership, but after reading the reviews on this site I decided to go to Germain (which of course I'm glad I did). Generally speaking the experience of buying a car one that causes anxiety and frustration, but at no point working with Sonny or Lew did I feel pressured to buy something I didn't want or need. Sonny was able to get a lower interest rate through the dealership than my bank could even offer, and he took the time to carefully explain each finance option as well as the warranty terms- even going so far as to draw charts detailing each provision. After the paper signing was complete, Lew took the time to help sync my new car to the Bluetooth functionality on the vehicle. This saved me the trouble of reading how to perform it so that I could get on the road and start enjoying the car sooner. When a product is good, it generally sells itself. Salesmen should be there to help walk through the features and answer questions, which is exactly what happened in this case. I have walked off lots before where a salesman asked me "how much can you afford a month" without even a consideration of what I wanted to buy. I was extremely relieved to find a dealership that let me make the decision, versus trying to make it for me. Again, a big thank you goes out to the Germain team for making this experience leaps and bounds better than my first car purchase! I love driving the car and look forward to having it for years to come. -John More
