I was very pleased with the service that I received from Terry. He greeted us immediately on our arrival and was very helpful in setting us up with a test drive. EXTREMELY rude man. We really just wanted estimates for car payments and he just assumed we were buying right there and then. He put a ton of pressure on us and when he got the idea that maybe we weren't r car payments and he just assumed we were buying right there and then. He put a ton of pressure on us and when he got the idea that maybe we weren't ready to buy TODAY he got nasty with us. We said the payments were a little high and that we would like to go home and figure out our finances before we rushed into a deal. He wanted to force us to sit and "talk about it", which basically means, "let me put more pressure on you." He ended by saying, "so basically, the only way you'd be interested is if the car were free." I've never heard something so rude and disrespectful in my life. We were genuinely interested in the Mazda6, but we were quoted a different monthly payment on their website. You shouldn't be obligated to buy a car just because you step through the doors and indicate interest. We stated upfront that we were still weighing options, but he must have ignored this since he stated, "Oh I just assumed you were buying today." You never "just assume" ANYTHING in the world of retail, and you don't treat your customers like crap if they don't bow to your will. We could barely get a word in edgewise and he didn't seem willing to let us speak privately with each other (myself and my spouse). It's almost like he felt invincible because the place has such high ratings. I know it's not common practice to act like this because we've dealt with salespeople who were vet easygoing and low-pressure. He came off as extremely aggressive. When we get our Mazda, we will be going to Byers. If you're gung-ho about going to Germain, we won't try to convince you otherwise, but we do urge you to at least choose a different salesperson should Lew Karbler approach you. More
No high pressure sales. Terry was knowledgeable about the car and treated me with great respect. As a female purchase I have often found male reps to be very condescending but not Terry! Worked with me on the price I wanted and helped me to get a lower interest rate than the pre-approved one that I had. Everyone stayed late so that I could drive my new car home. I will definitely recommend this dealership to friends and they have a customer for life! More

We were only planning on stopping by Germain Mazda to see if they had a car comparable to the one we were looking at from Ricart, just to compare prices. In fact, we were on our way TO Ricart to buy a car when we stopped and Rusty Wilson introduced himself. We went from what we expected to be a 10- or 15-minute stop just to look, to a several hours stop to test drive and shop and start negotiating a price everyone would be happy with. In spite of a couple of bumps on the way, we have our new car and we LOVE it! The way we were treated at Germain Mazda, particularly by Rusty and Sonny Sosniak, will keep us coming back. I trust Germain Mazda, and that's not something that can always be said of a car dealership. More

I am extremely happy with the personalized experience I recently had at this dealership. I purchased a 2011 Nissan Altima in April. This was a horrible experience. The sales person didn't complete the sale and once I signed the paperwork for the purchase I sat for an additional hour and had to ask if it was okay for me to leave. In addition within two months of my purchase I had to pay for 3000 in repairs for items that were not covered by the warranty and were more than likely were present when I purchased the car. Let's say I was not happy. During the last repair while I was waiting I decided to go next door to the Germain Mazda dealership. This is when I met Terry. I told him about my discontent with my purchase and he attempted to get me back into the same car that I had traded in, a Mazda 3. I was reluctant to purchase the car because I felt as if I would be taking a major financial loss and did not go through with the sale. Time passed and I grew more and more discontent with my car. I didn't like its performance and I felt that Nissan's workmanship no where near compares to the workmanship of a Mazda. I finally decided to trade in my Altima and went back to the Mazda dealership. I took a risk and hoped that I would see Terry. When I entered the dealership Terry was on the phone. Others offered to assist me but I insisted that I must work with Terry. I did not realize that Terry had come in to follow-up with some of his customers on his day off. He helped me to find the car of my dreams and worked with me to get a payment that I could afford. He patiently worked with me for over four hours to make sure that I test drove the car, understood all of its features, helped me clean out my trade, and even helped me set up my blue tooth. Because the service area was closed initially I wouldn't be able to obtain my car until the next day; however the dealership offered me the floor model because the car was similar to the one I purchased. I was wowed. I am so glad that I went back to Terry and Germain Nissan. Terry is an honest and reputable salesman. He definitely cares about the customer before the sale. The finance/general manager Sonny was very detailed, thorough, and patient. He took the time to answer any and every question I had. I learned a lot about the ins and outs of warranties, gap addendums, and the service department. Last but not least- Tim was the best. He kept my spirits up while I waited and took a picture of me with my new car! I love this dealership! Best experience ever! More

Have had experience with the "other" big name in town on the Ford side of their business, and just never felt my business really mattered. On the parts side Justin was great, very knowledgeable and informative. I would prefer to support local businesses and he worked with me to get with in a few dollars of total online prices (cost + shipping) being very fair, and his knowledge has value also. I had scheduled my service appointment online (really like this service/feature) and Jim greeted me by first name as I stepped out of my car. Had a small electrical problem (previous car owner, not Germain's or Mazda's fault) which was diagnosed and corrected same day allowing me to pick up my car that evening for a cost I felt was reasonable. Included was their Mazda Full Circle Inspection at no additional charge, as I had recently purchased this car used and my son will be driving mostly, really appreciated this and the feedback on the car. Only disappointment is they forgot to install the front plate bracket, not a big deal as they were not charging me for it and have done it before (don't you hate drilling into a perfectly good bumper to hang a ugly tag on it just so there is an aiming point for the speed check :), just felt great about the offer and "extra service" and disappointed with the execution. Summary: Everyone I encountered, email, phone, & in person was friendly, seemed to be enjoying what they do, and genuinely happy that I was in the dealership. Very pleased with the service department professionalism, cleanliness, and work on the important aspects of why the car was there (electrical & safety). Prices were reasonable, competitive, and in line with wanting to earn my business for the long term. I will most certainly go back and recommend this dealership, service, and parts department top others. More
