Drove from Chicago for an amazing deal I purchased a certified used Mazda 3 from Germain. I was specifically looking for a manual transmission which is not easy to find. As luck would hav I purchased a certified used Mazda 3 from Germain. I was specifically looking for a manual transmission which is not easy to find. As luck would have it, Germain had exactly what I wanted. On top of that, their asking price was unbeatable. I had been looking for about four weeks, so I knew what this car should sell for, and Germain was right on target. We arrived at Germain on Monday morning. Terry Johnson was expecting us, so he got there early to get everything ready. The car was running and ready for a test drive when we pulled in. Unlike almost every other dealer I have been to, Terry took me on a real test drive! We went on local streets and the highway and were out for about 15 or 20 minutes. I think this helps a lot as a buyer, but is often overlooked by other dealers. Terry presented me with a book of the entire history on the car. It was nicely organized and answered every possible question I could have had about the car. The book included a list of everything that was done to the car to get it ready for sale. They did present me with extremely competitive financing for the car, but I used my own prearranged financing in the end. If you use theirs, you should get competitive rates. Overall, this was a very good experience. I could not be happier with the service or the car. You can try to find a better price, but I doubt you will be able to. More

Simply fabulous experience from start to finish! My husband and I were looking to trade in my 2011 Chevy and we started searching for used vehicles on Cars.com. When I noticed a 2013 Mazda3 "i SV My husband and I were looking to trade in my 2011 Chevy and we started searching for used vehicles on Cars.com. When I noticed a 2013 Mazda3 "i SV" came up in the search results, I remembered how much he enjoyed the Mazda6 he had driven in the past. So I decided to try something outside of my comfort zone and visited the Germain Mazda dealership for a test drive. I received a warm and cheerful greeting from Michelle at the reception desk as soon as I walked in and she graciously introduced me to Rusty. Rusty actively listened and was extremely thorough in clarifying what the "i SV" meant and how it compared to the other options that were available. While viewing the specifics in each trim, I happen to notice there was an option for a standard manual transmission and he was able to locate one in stock ... and also in my favorite color! He arranged my car to be appraised, while I test drove the new one, and they provided a VERY fair offer. Rusty then went above and beyond by painstakingly comparing the pros and cons between 3 other used vehicles my husband wanted me to consider. He even wrote down an entire page full of extensive notes and answers to questions I thought my husband might ask me. This was a ginormous relief for me personally because I was afraid I might not remember it correctly. When my husband came with me a couple days later, he reviewed and answered more questions graciously and patiently. We never felt rushed or pressured in any way. When my husband emailed him some more questions a few days later, Rusty promptly responded to each of them clearly and succinctly. He was a joy to work with throughout the whole process! Damon presented the financing options with great care and completeness. The agreement was displayed on a fascinating interactive touchscreen which streamlined the process a great deal. The entire staff has been friendly, engaging and delightful each time we visited the dealership. I absolutely love my brand new 2016 Mazda 3 (so does my husband) and I couldn't be happier!!! More

Bo Stranzin is great! I just bought a new Mazda Cx-5 from Terry and Bo at Germain. Sales experience was good. But what really impressed me was 2 months after I got the car I just bought a new Mazda Cx-5 from Terry and Bo at Germain. Sales experience was good. But what really impressed me was 2 months after I got the car I needed help getting my license plate on and I had a scratch that I wanted touched up. Bo helped me with all that, he scheduled time for me to see the paint guy, then when i got there he took the car and put the plate on, got it washed and touched up super quick for me as I was on my lunch break. He made me feel taken care of. Thanks to Bo I will tell everyone to go to Germain and to him! More

Painless experiance I hadn't bought a car in 10 years and was dreading this "experience". However, all associates were very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable, esp I hadn't bought a car in 10 years and was dreading this "experience". I knew I wanted a small CUV, but was not sure what I wanted as there is a lot of competition in the category. The CX-5 practically sold itself, so after much research and many test drives of other CUVs, I chose the CX-5. I had to wait a few days to receive the color I wanted, but overall a pleasant experience. More

From my rep, to his boss, to his boss's boss, to other reps on the floor, all said hello and kept me company when I was waiting for various things. I also really appreciate the 3 for Free deal that they're running currently on services, and the loyalty rebate for those who have purchased from Mazda before (this is my 2nd). The only advice I would give, and this is a concern every time you go to a dealer, but lead with a darn good price. Not everyone is a negotiator and if you start out high assuming that they'll push back (or better yet, they won't and you get the high tag), you may lose out when they start shopping around. All someone has to do is say "Germain offered me this, can you beat it" and it doesn't take much for the other dealerships to beat it. Everybody wants to win business away from you guys and they'll jump at the opportunity to beat out your price. Ultimately, you came back with a counter and won my business, but what if I hadn't offered you the opportunity to do so? Other than that, Mike Worthington was awesome! Super not-salesy, which I appreciate, and easy to chat with. He was quick to respond whenever I texted/called. Really all you can ask for. One dealership did actually offer a slightly lower price, but I wanted to give you guys the business because Mike spent a lot of time with me and I felt he deserved the deal. Keep it up, Germain! You might have a customer for life ;) More

Great adventure I was looking to lease a new car but was undecided as to what. We had been to Toyota and Nissan prior to visiting Mazda. We took a very nice test drive in the Mazda 3 and Terry even had me stop in a parking lot to test the backup camera. I have never had such an informative test drive and review of a vehicle before. After about 45 minutes with Terry and the car we go in to do the paperwork. Once inside my eyes go to a different vehicle on the showroom floor. After oowwing and aahhing Terry asked if I wanted to test drive it. It being the Mazda CX3. I loved it. Needless to say we caused a few people to stay over time and I was able to drive my new car home. Thank you to Terry and all of the staff. This car lease adventure was a pleasurable one. We were planning to drive out of state to secure the car we wanted, but Terry from Germain lobbied hard for us to allow him to take care of things for us. We ended up getting the exact vehicle that we wanted (from the out of state dealer through a dealer trade) at a competitive price without any hassles or surprises. Terry is diligent and easy to work with, and probably saved us from heartache, as we suspect the other dealer was not being completely honest with us on pricing. Tim, sales manager, and Damon, finance manager, were also friendly and easy to work with. We felt valued as customers, and breathed a huge sigh of relief when there were no surprises with the paper work. I love that the dealership doesn't put any decals or advertising logos on the car, and they even asked us for permission to use their Germain dealer plate holders before putting them on (we will replace these, but appreciate having them for now). This was my first experience buying a new car, and overall Germain made the process much easier than I anticipated. More
