My sales rep, Terry Johnson gave me the information I needed and I felt the dealership was very transparent about what the dealership offers and how they differ from other dealerships in the reconditioning of their cars. He sold me on the reason to buy Mazda certified versus just "used" or "dealer certified". I drove another used 2014 mazda 6 from another dealership with 2k less miles and almost $2k cheaper (had some dents and blown speaker), but even though they were the same make and model, I noticed the difference. The other dealer was offering to fix things on the car I found wrong, but they weren't bringing them up unless I found them. With Germain Mazda, I really felt that I was getting a better quality car and that's important to me since I look to drive my cars for years (I've only owned 2 cars - drove one for 10 years and the other for 13 years). I come from a Honda/Acura family so I wasn't motivated to switch brands, but after a test drive, I don't think I'll leave Mazda now. Germain Mazda was upfront on the price, which they listed my 2014 mazda 6 Touring for $17662 (before the dealer discount it was almost $19k) and they ultimately came down to $17200 (fair market price for the mazda I bought was around $17770), plus they raised the price of my trade in from $400 to $600 (carmax offered me $300). My only issue with the dealership is that they don't have any type of 5-7 day no questions asked return policy that many dealerships now offer. The day after I left the lot, I contacted Terry about what I felt was an issue with the windshield, which in my viewing had a very slight warp to it (then I also found two chips on the glass). I'll admit, these are things to notice during the test drive and personal inspection, but with all you are trying to see, hear and feel during 15-20 minute test drive, it's easy to overlook things that you'll probably see at another time. The day after I left the lot, I brought these issues to the attention of the dealership and was told it's not under warranty and that they would not address it. I was then told that if I wanted to pursue it further with the used car sales manager I could. I emailed the used car sales manager and and asked them to reconsider looking into the windshield for possible repair/replacement. Prior to the sale he would respond back within a couple hours to my emails, but since my last email about the windshield, it's now on day 4 with no response. I was very, very happy with my experience until I brought up the windshield and didn't get the customer service I was expecting. I realize they are under no obligation or responsibility to do anything to the car after I bought it and drove it off the lot, but I would have felt better if they at least chose to look into the matter to see what I was talking about rather pushing me off. Despite that, I would still recommend them for a quality car and good price. More

I had been through the car buying experience many times before this one, and I was dreading the day I had to make the decision. I was sure that I needed a new car. What I wasn't sure of was what kind of car would best fit my needs, my wants, and my budget. Greg met with me multiple times and he researched a ton of information for me on several different cars so that I could compare details. I am so appreciative that I was never pushed into a car that I didn't want. He offered his wealth of knowledge and let me make my decision my way. And even after I purchased my beautiful new car, he has helped walk me through how to use a lot of new technologies that I didn't even realize I would be getting into.
