Air bag recall It was a struggle to get a new airbag installed in my 405SC as my car came from Canada. The first service person told me to arrange it and gave me a It was a struggle to get a new airbag installed in my 405SC as my car came from Canada. The first service person told me to arrange it and gave me a phone number to call. An appointment was made but no mention of the car being Canadian was made. My new service person was John McCludkey. We also did a 30.000 mile service and replaced some worn out parts. John was very easy to work with. I had a loner car for the day. When the airbag was removed, it was discovered that there were certain conditions that had not been met. I had never received a letter authorizing the recall. John cheerfully handled this for me with no problem. I was a bit upset but he understood and was courteous and efficient. I kept the loaner car and my car was done by noon the next day. I was never inconvenienced. He did not hand me a phone number and say, "take care of this." As the first service person did. More
