I would highly recommend Marc to anybody in search of their dream vehicle. The car I wanted (Cadillar SRX) was in Indianapolis, Indiana and Marc made sure that I received it here in Columbus, Ohio. I had a great buying experience at Germain. My sales person Marc was very friendly and took the time to answer all my questions in the necessary detail. (Let me begin by saying that I was debating whether to buy a Lexus or Cadillac, but opted for the Cadillac due to the outstanding customer service I had received from Chris Conrad at time of purchase and buy a Lexus or Cadillac, but opted for the Cadillac due to the outstanding customer service I had received from Chris Conrad at time of purchase and subsequent service visits over the past 6 years!) So on January 9th, I took my car in for regular oil and service maintenance. My new customer service contact is Rich Dobney (spelling?). He confirmed and verified my appointment via e-mail, and followed through every step of the process. He went out and inspected my car, noticed some scuffing on mirrors and one side at rear of vehicle, and personally rubbed them out to make it look like new. I was impressed! This was totally above and beyond the call duty and in every way exceeded my expectations. Needless to say, I'm not going anywhere else any time soon. Thank you, Arnie Hopkins More

I was looking for the right car, but outside of my experience with Germain, my usual feelings about buying a car are not good ones. I just don't generally like the experience of being pressured to buy something. John Streifel was that guy that was informative but friendly, interested in ensuring he understood what I wanted and that he could find something that fit what I was looking for. It was more of an information session about what cars fit the things I was looking for. I felt the same way when we bought our Sienna (the last purchase from Germain) and that tells me that you as a dealership are doing something right in how you are training people. I am sure I'll come back in five years when it's time to replace the van (we like to run our cars for 10 years and keep only one payment at any time). Ryan supported the finance paperwork and he was also friendly, but expedient too (something you appreciate when you don't want to spend all day signing papers). Count me as a satisfied customer. More
I had my vehicle in for fuel service just under 2 weeks earlier. The engine light came on so I immediately got the vehicle back in, just in case. Turns out it was a new issue, which was swiftly diagnose earlier. The engine light came on so I immediately got the vehicle back in, just in case. Turns out it was a new issue, which was swiftly diagnosed and handled. I needed to have a coil and plug replaced -- not cheap but after the service was done the car ran like new. I'd always wondered why my pre-owned CTS was just barely noticeably not quite as fast off the blocks as any loaner I would take while it was in the shop. Well now it really purrs and it really runs. I could not be happier. The cost was just under estimate, the work was done when stated. Also, some warranty work where I had to have a loaner for a couple days involved a trunk water leak, which was handled in the early part of December. The work was done on Germain's dime and done right. The effect of having a precision machine taken care of by precision mechanics is just beyond words. I'd considered having the vehicle serviced for the engine light issue but honestly, the other option, though reputable, could not give me a straight answer over the phone on basic questions. Well, Germain Cadillac representatives could. I quickly resolved their service, just under 100.00 more than other options, was the right one. Well, I was quickly proven right. I can't believe how well a vehicle can be maintained and just how good it can run. Out of the blocks now, if this car had wings, it would leave the ground. The thrill of punching it to pass slower traffic and being pushed back into the seat is, to make the phrase trite, beyond words. I make sure to have slower traffic nearby a little to often now, just to justify punching it now and then. And this baby responds, let me tell you. This is the first car 6 months after purchase that I can honestly say it was love at first sight and still is. I have to put this in -- if I run into a woman as great as this car is, she's off the market and I'll finally settle down. More
I had been looking for the perfect car for awhile. I'd contacted several dealers and visited one other dealer in the Chicagoland area. I found a perfect fit in a 2011 SRX. When I called to inquire about the vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised to speak to Marc, an extremely professional, non-pushy salesman. Marc helped answer all my questions and took care of all of my financing & credit documents right away. He was very patient with me and made me feel very comfortable in purchasing a vehicle 250 miles from home. Upon making the drive to Easton, Marc was in contact with us several times, making sure we didn't get lost and giving us tips on what hotel accommodations were nearby, etc. When we got to Germain, we were greated immediately like we were old friends. I truely feel my experience with Marc and the staff at Germain was top notch. I would recommend this dealer to anyone and everyone! More
Yesterday was the first I time I dealt with Shane Cawley. I must say he is a very good representative for Germain. He was not only professional and helpful, but there was a pleasant demeanor about him which I must say he is a very good representative for Germain. He was easy to communicate with. As a result, I felt trusting of him and that he cared about me as a customer. He listened, understood and explained well. As I left Germain, I was happy to have worked with him and glad he is there. I look forward to working with him next time. I vote that Germain made an excellent choice in hiring Shane! More
