Our first visit he approached us right away and within minutes was the most professional, friendly, none invasive, understanding and informative sales guy we had encountered in all of our dealer experiences. He took time to walk through the entire car, went for a test drive that included more details and then walked us through the lot of options. He let us take home the vehicle we were interested in to test drive it more. No stalking calls or texts or emails like we received elsewhere that turned us off. Our second and final time we brought my parents as well and he impressed them-which is incredibly hard to do so. My husband and I come from the hospitality world and the pile of plaques and glass awards on Tom's desk showcase not only his abilities but his true good ole personable nature. His time, energy, realistic conversations, understanding and friendly approach made our experience that much better. Buying a car can be stressful and Tom and the rest of his colleagues made it a smooth and personable night for us. There was no pressure and actually we even had some laughs. All the rest of the employees we came in contact with could have not been any more welcoming. In genera, l I've always felt car buying was a bit painful but it wasn't at Gerald in North Aurora. My salesman was Ryan Henderson who was very patient with us because we kept jumping between an Optima and a Cadenza. He was amazingly thorough, explaining all the features and new technology in each vehicle. His delivery was no pressure and he showed great concern that we got what we wanted and that we had a good experience at Gerald Kia......and we did. We got the car we wanted at the price we wanted. You can't ask for more than that. I would definitely recommend Gerald Kia and especially Ryan Henderson, my salesman. The whole team was great.
