Destroyed my opinion on car dealerships and car salesmen I was not looking forward to this visit whatsoever. I'll be honest: I did my research and was completely ready to do battle, get my way and get the I was not looking forward to this visit whatsoever. I'll be honest: I did my research and was completely ready to do battle, get my way and get the car I wanted without spending 8 hours of my time. My first contact was with Adil Fadlelmula who I was a little tough on, but the guy kept on trying to make me happy and never, ever came across as a guy who was trying to get something over on me. That calmed me down a little. Once we got going into the deal it was game time. In came Ferris Spikener, who I just assumed was there to up the game on me because he was the closer. I was tough on him too... for no good reason other than past experiences and stereotypes of car salesmen/floor managers. The bottom line: they both asked ME: what can we do to make this deal happen? All within 5 minutes? At one point, Ferris actually looked perplexed as to why I was so intense. The bottom line: I have bought my last four cars from Carmax to avoid haggling and slick salesmen. I ended up buying what I wanted, for the price I wanted and the trade I was asking for. I was in a new car and driving home in three hours. The Finance guy: Dan Rudnicki is second-to-none. Extremely conscientious and in my opinion, professional. To make the deal better, they were jamming to Sirius XM Hair Nation on the showroom floor and it got quite entertaining at times. I will never go to another dealership. Adil is a great guy and genuine. Ask for him and don't be mean to Ferris... he is there to make the deal happen not send you home mad. More
