Before I even considered looking at Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln, I was at an emotional high. My 1988 Dodge Shadow's engine blew as I was on my way to Atlanta. I was mad, depressed, and desperate all at the Lincoln, I was at an emotional high. My 1988 Dodge Shadow's engine blew as I was on my way to Atlanta. I had a rare vehicle that could get me almost anywhere, and now I was suddenly car-less because I made the STUPIDEST mistake of not checking the oil. I was willing to throw a lot away in order to get a new car right at that moment. The first person I called was my friend Martin Taylor. If anybody could get me a car today, it was him. But surprisingly, he did not give me a sales pitch, the first thing he did was try to calm me down. He knew what I was going through, and genuinely spoke to me as a friend instead of as one of his customers. He relaxed me, and game me advice on how to get through my situation, giving me a better chance of purchasing a vehicle without hurting myself in the process. I'm thankful to him just for that. But that wasn't all. Of course I came to Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln to see exactly what he could provide me with. I never told him what I was looking for, but he all ready had a lineup of suggestions. As we walked through the lot, he made me feel comfortable, he shown me vehicles that I would have loved to try out, and once we went inside, he continued to help me out, telling me exactly what I needed and advising me on what I could do. I would have loved to purchase a vehicle from Mr. Taylor, but unfortunately he could only show me so much. I really wanted a manual transmission vehicle and it had to be under $10,000. This couldn't be done, there were only so many manuals on the lot, and as a first time buyer, the prices were currently too expensive for me. Even though he tried his best, I just couldn't accept any offers. Martin Taylor is an excellent salesman and a great friend. If I had the ability to do so, I would gladly work with him over and over again. I would recommend him and Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln to almost anyone. More
