Letter to Ford To Whom this May Concern, On April 6,2015, I, James Webb took my Ford F550 truck to Bobby Jones Ford and Lincoln Dealership on Wrightsboro Road To Whom this May Concern, On April 6,2015, I, James Webb took my Ford F550 truck to Bobby Jones Ford and Lincoln Dealership on Wrightsboro Road in Augusta, Georgia. I took it for clutch assembly job. I’m not complaining about the work done, but the lack of customer service I received there at Bobby Jones Ford. My bill was 2,700 dollars which I paid upfront. At other Ford dealerships around Augusta, Georgia, I would’ve received a free vehicle wash for half the money I spent on that visit. Before I left I discovered a leak by the driver side door, which was a hole in the hydraulic hose. I went back to get the service manager Josh Tovar, who checked it out with the tech that worked on the vehicle who was Craig Saxon. The 131 service manager stated that the tech said he didn’t remove the hose to do the required work. The service manager stated that Bobby Jones Ford could fix the hose but it would cost an additional 800 dollars because they did not damage the hose. I was told to pick my vehicle up and deal with the Ford company myself on this matter. The service manager stated that he had to stand behind his techs word. I then took my truck to a wreckers service who charged me only 201 dollars ; a lot less than the 800 dollar charge quoted by the service manager at Bobby Jones Ford. The wrecker service states the clutch assembly work could not have been done correctly without removing the PTO or pushing the hose off to the side. I require a response to this matter and a refund of 201 dollars for the damaged hose. Thank you, James Webb Email: webbj317@gmail.com More
