The Worst I Have Encountered Poor communication, poor follow up. Sign on the dotted line and then.... oh wait who are you? That's the feeling I got and get.... This brand new car with 32 miles on it was presented to me in its final state with oil stains on the header, the arm rest and the console. They attempted to clean the header and left a larger stain. There was a grease like residue on the dashboard that still had the salespersons handprints and smears all over it. Plastic still covered some portions of the inside of the vehicle. I took pictures of everything before I left the parking lot. The second key was missing. It took 6 phone calls (2 to salesperson, 2 to Sales manager, and 2 to Service Manager), 2 in person inquiries and a trip to service department to finally get that. More

Hyundai Santa Fe Purchase Justin Polzin, our sales rep, was terrific to work with. Overall, I very much enjoyed working with Justin and would buy from him again. Dan Racine, t Justin Polzin, our sales rep, was terrific to work with. Overall, I very much enjoyed working with Justin and would buy from him again. Dan Racine, the sales manager, was very off-putting. Dan is what I would consider a 'typical' sales rep and I was agitated by the conversations I had to have with him. I think talking to him is part of Gerald's sales process. I felt that talking to Dan was insulting to my intelligence and to Justin's. Justin and I were progressing through the process perfectly and Dan had to come in and waste time by re-iterating things Justin already covered and that Justin covered in a more friendly and matter-of-fact way. If Dan was my direct sales rep, I would have walked out of the dealership. Also, when I say No to buying the ridiculous maintenance and fabric cleaning packages, just accept No for an answer. We spent at least a half hour saying no. More

Sonata buying at Gerald It was an extremely pleasant experience buying car from Gerald. The staff was very knowledgeable and did not try to push anything extra.
