My husband and I have been looking at cars for several months. We have never had a better experience at car buying, than we did at George Moore Chevrolet. We went up there from St. Augustine to see a ford focus from autotrader. However, we test drove a 2010 Chevy cobalt, even though my husband and I didn't want a Chevy because of past experience, we bought one and are very happy. These three employees stayed late and followed through with excellent customer service. They were friendly, efficient, professional, and went beyond expectations. More
We went to George Moore Chevrolet to look at new Suburbans. Over the course of several days we worked with 2 salesman who were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle. While at Suburbans. Over the course of several days we worked with 2 salesman who were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle. While at the dealership they went out of their way to be nice, however, that is where any semblance of a good experience ended. We met who we will call salesman A on our first visit and test drove a new Suburban. He was friendly and it was overall a good experience. We were researching all large SUVs (Suburban, GMC's Yukon XL, and Ford's Expedition EL). As Chevy was our first stop we were not yet ready to talk numbers and left. The next day after we had a chance to look at the other manufacturers vehicles we returned to George Moore to take another look at the Suburban. Salesman A was unavailable so we worked with Salesman B. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and friendly. We sat down to talk numbers and the best price (although a fantastic deal) was a little more than we were willing to pay (and way more than a Ford). The paper that had the handwritten offer on the back side contained violent and inappropriate images. I'm all for recycling paper and not easily offended, but I had little kids with me. Fortunately, the didn't see the images, but it shows a total lack of regard for others. Perhaps, it was an honest mistake, but it was offensive and could have been devastating to others. As we were leaving he suggested another vehicle (which was more expensive) and said we may be able to get an even better deal. We said we would think about it and left. After some discussion about our options of Ford versus Chevy we decided that if George Moore could make us the deal we would be willing to pay more and give the Suburban a chance. We went back in to talk numbers and were about $1000 off on figures, but Salesman B said he would work on getting the price down and call us back so we left. Salesman B never called back, but the next morning Salesman A called and said they would be able to come down in price and we had a deal. Excited that we "had a deal" we went in that night to sign the paperwork. Salesman B said there was no deal and we were still about $800 apart in price, but he would call at 1000 the next morning to let me know if they could make a deal or not. He never called and it is now several days later (still no call). I understand that a deal cannot always be made. However, we wasted time going back to the dealership after we were told we had a deal and couldn't even get a promised follow up phone call. This was a 60K vehicle we were looking at purchasing and I couldn't even get the common courtesy of a follow up phone call. Perhaps, they are so busy at George Moore that my sale wasn't important enough for them. In any case, I would not recommend this dealership and think their customer service was atrocious. We were undecided if we should get the Suburban or Expedition EL, but this experience made the choice easy to go with Ford. More

We absolutely enjoyed working with Carlos. He was super helpful, informative and talked to us in terms we understood and less technical stuff. While recieving a terrible service/certification from a separate dealer, I brought my vehicle to George Moore Chevrolet and dealt diretly with Carlos who greeted me immediatley and assured me that I was in separate dealer, I brought my vehicle to George Moore Chevrolet and dealt diretly with Carlos who greeted me immediatley and assured me that I was in good hands. Carlos set up my appointment over the phone and was very prompt when I arrived the next morning. I explained to him what the problems were. After the mechanic went over the car, Carlos called me in to tal prompt when I arrived the next morning. I explained to him what the problems were. After the mechanic went over the car, Carlos called me in to talked with the mechanic to further explained what the problems were. Carlos called Enterprise to get me a rental car. He called me the next day to update me with what the mechanic had found out. He told me the car should be ready by Friday and it was ready, which saved me another day on the rental car. George Moore Chevrolet should be proud of having an employee like Carlos on the front line of service to the customers. More
Carlos and the team at George Moore were extremely helpful. They really helped me out when my Buick had mechanical problems. Purchased after market sunroof which was not as described. No effort was made to find me a car with a sunroof until I had already purchased a car. Before sunoof was installed spoke with Gary and Todd and tried to trade car which now has apprx 500 miles for one with sunroof and was told could only get what was paid for car after my trade,$19,500. No credit for my $8000 trade. Was assured sunroof would look like factory installed. Paid $600 for pop up sunroof which did not have a screen so sunlight always would come through. Then Gary tried to talk me into another $600 to get a sunroof with a screen. Now I was offered 23,000 on a trade which I should have been offered before I spent $600 on a sunroof with no screen. I find it interesting that factory sticker for sunroof was $900. Mine was going to cost $1200. This was my first and last car purchased from George Moore. I would like my $600 refunded for misrepresentation of product. Dealt with some very fast talkers. Wish I had gone to Coggin Chevy and had not wasted so much time and money at George Moore. More
I am very pleased with the management and service I recieved at the service department, as long as I have been there I have had no issues with anyone. Carlos was great with everything I needed.
