Where do I start? I have always had a good experience with Genesis of Southwest Houston, but not this time… I had the worse experience with this dealership then I ha I have always had a good experience with Genesis of Southwest Houston, but not this time… I had the worse experience with this dealership then I have ever had since owning an automobile. First thing, my appointment was at 8am. My valet showed up at 10am, after I called the service department and inquired about my appointment. Secondly, once my car reached the dealership, my service tech (Simon) called me and stated that he walked around my car and inspected my tires. He noticed that my tires needed to be rotated and I also need a front-end alignment. I asked him how can he know this just by looking at my tires. He said the wear and tear on the tires tells it all. I then informed him, that there is no wear and tear on my tires because I just had them replaced and balanced two days prior to bringing it to the dealership. He then went to tell me that I still needed a front end alignment. Of course, I refused the service because at this point, how can I trust him to tell me the truth? So I asked him to do the oil check and also fix my front fender flare. Which, the dealership is who broke and lost my fender during the last visit to the service department. Next, when my car was returned to me on Saturday September 28, the one thing that I wanted repaired, did not get repaired at all but my service tech Simon stated he checked my car himself and that it was repaired. I showed the valet driver that my car is still not fixed. He video taped the movement of the fender and sent it to the dealership. An employee name Andreas called me on Saturday and stated that someone would call me on Monday or Tuesday to schedule a tech to come to my home and personally fix this issue. It is now Tuesday evening at 9:08pm and I still have not received that call…SMH Can it get any worse? More
I was told over the phone when making an appointment that an AC inspection was complementary. When I picked up my car, my bill was $240. The real problem here is that my service advisor did not tell me that an AC inspection was complementary. When I picked up my car, my bill was $240. I chose this dealer because they had the car I wanted on their lot. It’s actually much further than other genesis dealers from my home. I am very glad I made the trip! Justin McGaughey and his team took very good care of me. One salesperson took me through the entire car while they were working on the sales paperwork. His knowledge of this complex vehicle was encyclopedic. He answered every question and demonstrated each system. I believe i got a very fair deal with no pressure to add things I didn’t want, and I was treated very well by everyone I met. Overall, I am quite happy. Highly recommend. More
My experience purchasing my GV70 was bar far the smoothest/easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had.
