I purchased a used vehicle in November. The sales person was very nice, but the overall experience was not so pleasant. After much thought , i decided to write this review so that someone else will not make the mistake that i did. I saw the vehicle online. Vehicle was dirty when I got there to see it. So car had not been at the dealership long enough to be detailed. Sat down with sales person, and saw the figures for the price of the car. They add a "Market Adjustment" to their used car prices, which was $1400, and they make you think you are getting 3 free oil changes with tire rotations, but there is a charge for that to. Should have walked out then. When I asked what a market adjustment was, I was told because vehicle values change everyday. Yeah right. Most places do not have this addition. So ask before you decide to buy. . Then , as I was leaving, found out there was only 1 key fob. Should have backed out again. I was told to go down the street to a place where I could get another fob at MY expense!! I asked if they could take money from the "Market Adjustment " fee, since the car had not been there long enough to be cleaned up, and was told NO. They could offer to pay for a new key and fob, but no one seems interested in helping. That is crazy business. Shop around before you buy. They have large fees added on, and don't want to purchase additional keys for their used cars. More
Always look at the online price 1st because it is a lot less than the sticker price. They made me feel like I was getting an awesome price of $2600 off but if you look at the online price it was only a $10 less than the sticker price. I already purchased the vehicle so the only way to rectify this is send me a check for the $1600 to make it right. Plus I found the original sticker in the manuel and I paid way too much for an almost 4 yr old vehicle More
Not cool. I called to cancel & reschedule an appt. I wanted to get an oil change while I was there for the recall.. Let me start off with I purchased my vehicle brand new and no issues with the purchase of my vehicle. It wasn't until owning, servicing and have paid off my vehicle that I began to have trouble. The 5th y and no issues with the purchase of my vehicle. It wasn't until owning, servicing and have paid off my vehicle that I began to have trouble. The 5th year of me owning my vehicle is where my trouble began. I've caught the service department in lies of not completing services that I've paid for. I've had technicians mark items incorrectly tell me items that needed to be repaired due to "time/mileage" I could go on and on and have the service records to prove it. Nissan motor Corp will eventually get tired of seeing my name and VIN number from all the inquiries I've sent in. Long story short IF you need to get service done at a nissan dealership drive a little further and skip Gastonia nissan save yourself the headache and time wasted. It's obvious that this service department doesnt care about cutsomers or customer service. Just be prepared to fight nail and tooth for any services that you spend your money on, and be prepared to take your vehicle to another location for a second opinion or to verify that services were actually completed. First I had a bad experience with my purchase here, which I already gave a review on that situation. Informed me last week that tires should be rotated at 12,000 miles but yet the visit in October that I had, I was told the same thing, so I had them rotated. Then today, they sent me an email stating that I didn't get proper maintenance for my vehicle and that it would go on my carfax report. It is not worth me driving 30 minutes to get a free oil change and sit 2 hours but I did it because it was free. I will not use my last 3 free oil changes at this dealership. Also, back in November my Mass Airflow Intake Sensor went out and I had only had the car 8 months. I was told by several people that this happens all the time. I wish I had never purchased this vehicle. More
We purchased a vehicle from Nissan Gastonia months ago and were told that we could trade “that” vehicle in within 6 months(needed a larger vehicle to travel with grandchildren). We tried 2x to get the ve and were told that we could trade “that” vehicle in within 6 months(needed a larger vehicle to travel with grandchildren). We tried 2x to get the vehicle traded in “after” the 6 months and got the run around from management. Always an excuse, no above and beyond initiative or even an explanation. Worst car dealer I have ever dealt with!!! I will never recommend Gastonia Nissan to anyone!!! #EVER!!!! Just a bunch of empty offices with slick-talking liars and a subpar manager!! More

I recently referred my nephew to and took him myself to Gastonia Nissian to buy his first car.. since I purchased my new 2019 Rouge there... And 2 other family members who had referred me had been buying c Gastonia Nissian to buy his first car.. since I purchased my new 2019 Rouge there... And 2 other family members who had referred me had been buying cars there for years it made sense.. When we got there around 3:30 in the afternoon no other customers around 2 sales people were standing outside never even looked our way much less greeted us .... Then as we walked in and they realized we were seriously looking the practically ran in and tried to talk over us as we were speaking to the sales girl that did actually greet us once we walked inside..her name fails me (black lady that sat at the first sales desk).. We let those guys know we would be talking with her instead... So my nephew applied, the girl we worked with showed him what he qualified for... He made sure to tell her to be sure and put me down on his paperwork for the referal credit the 100 or so referal bonus they promise if you refer someone to their business, she assured us she was doing that ..so ..He drove the car he liked it . .. So we waited.. And about 4 hours later we finally got taken to the finance office where a real nice young man with long hair helped us he was very professional .. But prior to the wait I ask the young lady to take my application (within us being there within the first 20 to 30 min) to see if i could possibly lower my payment by downsizing my vehicle... She did the numbers and turned them in ... Waiting. The whole time ..No one ever came and said yes you can , no you cant, it was crickets the entire time we waited to go to finance for my nephew... We had waited so long with no other customers there that another sales guy come by and said why are yall still waiting it isnt like we are busy.. He said Ive seen you set here for hours... He did seem to speed things up for us.. it was after he acknowledged us. About 15 minutes later we got called to the finance office to sign paperwork. .. But i still had not even been given acknowledgement that i had even applied not a yes /no/maybe...nothing ... We finally finished in the finance dept with my nephew and as we were walking out the door I looked at our sales lady after the long wait 4 or 5 hours after the application was taken and my credit pulled and i ask. Did you find out anything on my application and she said ... Oh no we cant help you get it lower and just dismissed me... I just felt it was very unprofessional of the company over all .. Not even the decency to comeback and simply say. We ran the numbers and we arent able to do anything for you today... Since they were not able to profit on me ..I was treated as if i didn't matter... being confused that I didn't really get an explanation what wouldn't work I called back the next day speak to the finance department and no one was available of course all I was going to ask is if they had ran the numbers with a new car with rebates as well as a used one but no one even had the decency to return my call.... so last night I was talking to you the family members that had originally referred me there and told them about the experience. And they said you need to make sure you write a review andin it be sure and let them know not only did they loose your business but they have lost ours as well, and they have bought several cars from Gastonia Nissian over the past 7 or so years.. But said they will not be returning , nor will I. ..... As far as the reference bonus. I have not received anything. Not as much as a thank you for sending a new customer. All this to say I was very disappointed in the way I was treated and I dont plan to return and rather than refer others i will plan to do the opposite and let them know how you treat people. More
