My salesman was super! I LOVE MY FIT LX! I dread car shopping, but my experience last month was painless. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Derrick Ellis, a very well dressed and professional sales person. Is that the correct title these days? He was friendly, knowledgable, professionally dressed in a great looking suit and eager to assist me in my search for a car that would not break my budget. I had researched the Fit, and liked what I had read, so that’s the car we took for a spin. I loved it immediately and knew it was the car for me at this time in my life. I have quite a commute each day and the Fit MPG convinced me that was the car for me. The entire experience was pleasant and pressure free. I am looking forward to my future service visits as I also purchased a maintenance plan. I sure hope they wash and vacuum my car when I bring it for oil changes. I know Hampton Hyundai does that, so I expect Gary Smith Honda does as well. how exciting, I can’t wait! Thank you Derrick for all your help and patience! He didn't try to pull any of the snake oil salesman tricks. I despise the financial negotiations, but this time it was easy. It was like dealing with a friend. I ended up coming back 2 days later to buy myself a car as well. I dealt with two finance managers (one from Honda and one from the sister dealership next door, Acura). Those guys were awesome too. I told them exactly which warranty products I wanted to add and which I didn't, and they didn't try to pressure me at all. Would recommend this dealership. More
