The staff I had dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Brendan was my sales guy and he helped me get into a car as soon as possible along with the help of two others! After 10 years of getting my car serviced without issue, I was very angry and displeased with our recent visit. My car had its first issue and I was afraid to drive it. I was scheduled for 3 weeks out from I was very angry and displeased with our recent visit. My car had its first issue and I was afraid to drive it. I was scheduled for 3 weeks out from drop off date!! No loaner offered. After a week, it was diagnosed for the agreed $160 fee. They found zero issues. (The car would not go above 40 or change gears on the highway, would not go above 20mph on any incline and had gears grinding.) I could not believe that they found "no codes." I am not sure if it every left the shop. They agreed to look again and found a HUGE repair with $2900 in parts alone. I was not prepared for a $3000+ repair and started car shopping. When I declined the repair, "after market parts" were offered for much cheaper (with the understanding that they may not fit/work????). When I declined this option, I was then being charged MORE than $160 because THEY FAILED TO FIND THE REPAIR at first. WHAT? Their team was incompetent and I have to pay more?!?!?!?! I thought I would always own a Kia vehicle and was shopping for new Sorentos/Tellurides. But, knowing that this was my local service department, I realized I could never buy another Kia. I do not know what has happened to the service department. It was honorable, efficient and fair for 10 years. But, this debacle was a nightmare and I believe that the extra charge is fraudulent and will be pursuing sharing my issues with Kia corporate, the Better Business Bureau and beyond so others do not endure what we did.
