4th of July weekend on a whim I decided to check out Garvey because it was the first day (I work Monday through Saturday every week) I've had off in a while where dealerships are open. I've been wanting Garvey because it was the first day (I work Monday through Saturday every week) I've had off in a while where dealerships are open. I've been wanting to trade up from a sedan to an SUV for a while now but with new and used car prices being through the roof I wasn't really in a rush to move forward with the idea. I decided to go to Garvey because they are the only local dealer that I had found that #1 isn't price gouging the market and #2 actually lists their sale price on their website. All the other dealerships I've looked at say "call for price", I'm guessing because they're a little embarrassed of themselves for how bad they're gouging the market. As soon as I walked in to Garvey Kia the first person I saw was Tom and I asked him if the Sorento I saw online (and the one I thought I saw in front when I parked) was still available and he went to check. The first thing he did was point out that the one I saw out front was front-wheel drive and wanted to make sure that was what I was looking for which it wasn't so good first catch and good first impression. The rest of the process was very easy and straightforward, I told him I wasn't sure whether I wanted to finance or lease but at the end of the day the determining factor was going to be to keep payments the same or less than I was currently paying. I didn't feel rushed or pressured one bit and I must say Garvey was the easiest most laid back dealership I've ever delt with and I most certainly will continue dealing with them for the foreseeable future and will keep going back to Tom for all of my new cars as long as he still works there. Thank you Garvey and thank you Tom for a stress-free car buying experience! I also have to add that the finance manager was equally as straight-forward no bs, and stress free. More
