Jen made sure that Garnet accepted Continental’s comprehensive warranty and gave me a heads-up that I might have to pay a $180 diagnostic fee if they didn’t find anything wrong. I decided to take the risk. The technician thoroughly inspected the engine, ran a full test to ensure there were no issues, and even took it for a second test drive to double-check. They eventually removed the faulty code. Jen was very apologetic that I had to pay the fee, but I felt reassured knowing that Garnet VW took the time to double-check the engine, confirming that everything was fine and the car was just being overly sensitive. More
Shady dealership. My fault for only looking at bottom line numbers on the contract but they never showed me money owed or collected it at time of sale. I was the victim of a red light runner in mid December and lost my beloved VW Golf. I spent 3 painstaking weeks looking for a decent vehicle within my budget without having to finance. I would rather be physically hit by a car then deal with another car dealership EXCEPT for Garnet VW!! As soon as you request info, car dealerships blow you up!! My phone was ringing off the hook, text out the wazoo, and endless emails!! I stumbled up a gem at Garnet VW and requested email only. The following morning Steve, the manager, emailed me and we corresponded throughout the day. Not a single call or text!! I arrived that evening at Garnet and was handed the keys to the 2014 Kia Soul and told "take your time, you don't need a baby sitter". It was a breath of fresh air to not be forced in to small talk and a sign of respect. I'm sure if I was looking at a $50,000 new car things might have been different but it made a world of difference to me! I returned to a sales associate, Fran, showing me the ins & outs of the vehicle. Sat down with Steve and we struck a deal! As it was nearing the end of the night and dinner time, Fran brought out a variety of snacks & beverages while the car was being prepped and the paperwork completed. AND per request, they dug out a desk calendar for me! It was an absolute pleasure shopping with Garnet VW!! More
Professional, courteous and friendly dealer. I got a new 2022 VW Atlas. I traded in my 2020 Ford Ranger. Everyone was nice and felt like they enjoyed their job. Paperwork was easy and seamless. Purchasing a used vehicle and recalling a bad experience I had here with a used car awhile back. Worst car buying experience of my life. Bought a used car for close to $6,000 and after driving it off the l I had here with a used car awhile back. Worst car buying experience of my life. Bought a used car for close to $6,000 and after driving it off the lot found out it had unsafe brakes then engine issues. Cost me $2,000 just to get it drivable and then was told another 3,000 would be needed to work on the engine. I had to scrap the vehicle and took a huge loss. No one at the dealership would give me the time of day to make it right. Go elsewhere More

Yesterday I had a terrible experience at Garnet and today I grew a new appreciation for the quality of service this dealer; their actions today has tu Yesterday I had a terrible experience at Garnet and today I grew a new appreciation for the quality of service this dealer; their actions today has turned it from a poor experience to by far the best I had with an auto dealership. Faith in humanity restored. The staff has always been nothing less than pleasant. While I have felt like recommendations were excess of necessity, nothing was short of common for a dealership. What really triggered my bad experience was doubt in the necessity of these services and more so they quoted me a service based on the wrong model year car and hit me with a surprise $200 in additional work required. What changed my understand of Garnet VW was the manager Tim. Not only did he take full ownership of the situation, he was willing to accommodate me beyond what I thought was fair. He explained how he would address it and sympathized with my situation. He cited bad experiences he had in the past and how he wants customer service to be the forefront of his business. My conversation with him reassured me that this dealer isn't intentionally deceiving customers. It is only human to miscommunicate and Garnet gets five stars for their unmatched willingness to make things right. Tim was super helpful and I have always had nothing less than understanding from Shannon, Megan, and Brandon. While I wish I wasn't misquoted the service, I have been assured it won't happen and they did go above and beyond to make it right. More

Deceptive sales After purchasing this vehicle I found out that the front brakes would not pass inspection and were unsafe. I had to have the entire front brake system replaced. Then the thermostat needed replacement. I soon found out the engine rings were bad causing the vehicle to burn excessive amounts of oil. This caused the rods to be bent and the vehicle broke down. I spent $2000 for the initial repairs and was told another 3000 was needed to make the vehicle operational. I purchased the vehicle for 5200 and now I have to scrap the vehicle as junk. This dealership knowingly sold me a vehicle that was unsafe to drive and had obvious mechanical issues that were not disclosed. I contacted the dealership several times and was insulted by the sales manager. I was told that they would call me back with a resolution and never did. Follow up phone calls were ignored. More
