Sales Reps were -pleasant and helpful. Time spent picking up the car (waiting on finance) took as much time as it did to negotiate purchasing the car. A little disappointing. I am still waiting fo picking up the car (waiting on finance) took as much time as it did to negotiate purchasing the car. A little disappointing. I am still waiting for a call on additonal accessies purchased in July. More
Overall the experience was very good. The showroom was clea the staff very friedly and informative. All of our questions were answered professionaly. The only draw back would be that at the showroom where clea the staff very friedly and informative. All of our questions were answered professionaly. The only draw back would be that at the showroom where we bought our car there is no service facility. It is only 2 miles away, but it would be nice to have it at this location if oly for oil changes. More
Last week I visited this dealer to purchase a new 2008 Honda Ridgeline. Anthony in sales was a nice guy who took the time to educate me about the suv and perform a test drive. I came back two days later t Honda Ridgeline. Anthony in sales was a nice guy who took the time to educate me about the suv and perform a test drive. I came back two days later to do the deal, but was unable to agree upon a sales price do to the manager's (Michael) gift of double talk and back peddling. For some reason, the manager kept insisting on quoting me a vehicle price outside the parameters of Honda's special 2.9% finance promotion for up to 60-months (the promotion ends today). I have a 750+ credit score and requested a reasonable price that took advantage of the $3,000 cash back and 2.9% rate. They just don't get it! Therefore, I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying a vehicle from this dealer if you value your time and appreciate speaking with a sales staff that truly wants to sell you a vehicle at a reasonable price rather than rake you over the coals. I immediately drove to a nearby competitor that addressed my concerns and penned a great deal on the spot! More
I went to this dealership by chance since it's located by the highway. I was buying a car for my mom, but didn't want her to be pressured into any sales. After viewing a couple cars which were above our the highway. I was buying a car for my mom, but didn't want her to be pressured into any sales. After viewing a couple cars which were above our price range, and also not in good condition, we told them we were not interested. So the salesman gets his manager who then grills me on what exactly we're looking for, and then proceeds to show me more cars that are better prices, but worse condition. I felt like I had to explain why I didn't want to spend the money on a car that didn't make my mom happy. Rediculous. Then we had to listen to a long speech on how it's difficult to find a used car and we should just buy new. Also they mentioned that you shouldn't look around for cars and just buy something within the first three dealers you see. Would you buy a house like that? More
I went to buy a new car. The first tried to sell it to me at the MSRP. I showed them a print out from carsdirect.com. The agreed to that price. I went to finance it, and surprise, surprise... they want me at the MSRP. I showed them a print out from carsdirect.com. The agreed to that price. I went to finance it, and surprise, surprise... they wanted about 50% down and 7% interest which came out to the MSRP again. The salesman I was dealing with was a nice guy and new, and was telling me that, maybe if my credit was better they could do 5.3%... but couldn't apply that to the lower price. The manager showed me a print out from Honda to 'confirm'. It was one or the other. I was about to walk out, and he says "let me see what I can do". The manager or whomever then says 'oh, I misread it. Here it says you can't combine, here it says you can." They weren't sure, and he would call me back first thing the next day. I called my salesman near the end of the next day... his manager hadn't told him one way or the other yet. I called Paramus Honda. I told them the carsdirect.com price and they said, "our price is lower." It was. On the same day, I came home with a car from them. It was my first car buying experience. I learned the difference between a good and a bad dealer. More
