My personal disabilities were met with care. The profesionalism I experienced. The ease of service. There was a real team effort. They stayed after work to test drive the vehicle. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER... These guys throw attitude at you if dont end up buying a car with them. I wanted to buy a honda accord and asked for a ride to the showroom which is 5-6 miles from my place. at you if dont end up buying a car with them. I wanted to buy a honda accord and asked for a ride to the showroom which is 5-6 miles from my place. A well behaved river came to pick us up. we sat down to make a deal but somehow the dealer did not agree on the price we wanted and we decided to leave. Dwayne got upset, which is quite understandable and told us to take a cab and go back home, which was totally unacceptable.. me and my wife got mad and decided to leave right away. Dwayn's manager, Eric comes in and never apologized for watever happened... he said he can get us a ride back but we will have to wait 30-45 mins. It was already 9.30pm. Again no one apologized for the rude behavior and we ended up taking a cab. I AM NOT GOING BACK TO THIS DEALER EVEN IF THEY SELL ME THE ACCORD AT THE PRICE OF CIVIC. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER. More
This is the best place to buy a car. Ask for Jimmy D. He is their top salesman and does an amazing job. This place bends over backwards to satisfy their customers. Great car, price, service, experience. High is their top salesman and does an amazing job. This place bends over backwards to satisfy their customers. Great car, price, service, experience. Highest recommendation. Fair prices. But be sure to ask for Jimmy "D" I'm not him but he made me into a fan. More

I answered an ad for a 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid that was advertised on Cars.com. I spoke to several people giving them the same information over and over. Finally got to speak to Mr. A. Vargas. Explained advertised on Cars.com. I spoke to several people giving them the same information over and over. Finally got to speak to Mr. A. Vargas. Explained to him that I wanted to purchase said car and trade in my vehicle. He asked me questions about my car, VIN number, original window sticker, etc. I gave him all the information he requested. He was supposed to get back to me several days ago but I have not heard from him. I called the dealership and left him a message; I emailed him and left him several messages; I called his cell phone several times and left him the same message. As of now, he has not had the courtesy to return any of my inquiries. This leads me to believe that the car I wanted really doesn't exist. It is probably a scam to get customers into the dealership. What other explaination can there be? If anyone from Garden State Honda in Clifton, NJ reads this, please have the common courtesy to get back to me with an answer. If you just don't want my trade, say so! Don't be a wuss about it!!! More
Are you kidding me? Let me start off by saying I've done my homework on the CRV for the past 6 months because I've been WAITING for 2012 to come out. I went here in the beginning of the month to get a quot my homework on the CRV for the past 6 months because I've been WAITING for 2012 to come out. I went here in the beginning of the month to get a quote on the CR-V EX-L 2012. Justine - fabulous salesperson, great demeanor, knows her stuff COLD. However, I left because of a manager who sauntered over to us, asked me why I wanted certain modifications (God forbid I try to negotiate a deal on a car I want), and honestly acted unbelievably arrogant. I left, but had second thoughts despite my father and friends asking me to see other dealerships, because I honestly liked Justine, and if anyone's getting a commission for this car, it's going to be her. I even waited the 24 days for them to get the car today. Granted, I went to get the car mid-day Saturday (today), and it was crazy, but after waiting more than 2 hours to see the finance department, and AFTER SIGNING A CONTRACT FOR A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE RATE, and I'm honestly in the car ready to drive off, another salesperson with a knack for words, comes to the side Justine is at, and says, I quote "finance wants to see you again, don't let them drive off with the car." Excuse me? Apparently they "ACCIDENTALLY" gave us a lower rate than they were supposed to, and were now correcting it by calling different banks for the correct amount. That's not really my problem, because honestly we went over it when the woman in the finance department went over the details with me for more than a half hour. For the next 20 minutes, not one manager came to us, despite us asking for the manager, and all I had was the one person, Justine, who had nothing to do with that, deal with my wrath because of the irresponsibility of another person. Anyway, after rectifying the situation by lowering the actual price of the car (1) after threatening to walk out of the deal and 2) giving them the only option we'd deal with), the finance woman asked the manager WHO FINALLY SHOWED UP what to do to for giving us such a hard time, he replied, "Well I can offer you 2 oil changes for free..." What the HELL? I am a damn physician, I don't need your pity oil changes for 50 bucks. Overall: JUSTINE ROCKS...but this place is trying to scam everyone. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION SUCKS. If I didn't need the damn car, or if I didn't like Justine, I would have never came back. Garden State Honda, you're lucky you have her - because with that reputation, you DO NOT deserve her. More
This is a very professional dealership. This was my fourth Honda and I have dealt with some lousy dealerships. Yong is very straight forward and respectful. There was no pressure. Justine was an ideal sales consultant - professional, friendly, knowledgable and, most importantly, an active listener. It is because of Justine and the seamless transaction that we (wife and I) will gl friendly, knowledgable and, most importantly, an active listener. It is because of Justine and the seamless transaction that we (wife and I) will gladly provide Garden State with with future referrals when we hear of a family or friend who will be looking to buy. Additionally, Elaine (in Finance), as well, was just as professional, friendly and knowledgeable in answering all of our questions regarding the finance paper-work. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and had tight time constraints due to a scheduled event in the evening. I explained this to them and we had our car a short while later and just as advertised in the newspaper. Overall, very pleased. More
Drove from NY to NJ on the promise that they will beat any Honda Dealership price. Upon arriving at Garden State Honda I was told that I would only be offered a price if I agreed to purchase the car the s any Honda Dealership price. Upon arriving at Garden State Honda I was told that I would only be offered a price if I agreed to purchase the car the same day. Then they offered me a price of $50.00 less than the NY Honda Dealer. $50 barely covered my gas cost from NY to NJ and back to NY. I had to haggle to get a better offer. Purchased the car and paid for an auto start. Just to discover on the day I came to pick up the car that the auto start was not installed. A promise to refund me for the auto start never materialized. I had to go through my credit card company to void the charge for the auto start. Do not believe them when they say they will beat any other dealership price with a serious offer. More
