This is my third car from Garden State Honda and working with Pedro was a very nice experience. He was very understanding to my wants and needs for purchasing a car. Amazing customer service from Johan Payero and his manager Hamad Matari at Gardenstate Honda(Passiac/Clifton). They make you feel like family and the service right from "Hello" to the delivery of tha manager Hamad Matari at Gardenstate Honda(Passiac/Clifton). Am very much pleased by the followup and updates on whats going on and guidance to let me chose what i wanted after discussing the options of purchase/lease. Not once did i see the routine selling of putting the price values before you and forcing you to chose the best for them, rather here they made me understand what i wanted first and allowed me to chose the best deal. They only find ways to guide through credit checks and lawful requirements to help you a smooth and approved ride. DO NOT GET AN EXTENDED WARRANTY IF OFFERED AND MAKE SURE TO CAREFULLY INSPECT YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE TAKING IT OFF THE LOT!! I recently purchased a 2013 Accord EX-L (my first new car) and it has been a bad ex TO CAREFULLY INSPECT YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE TAKING IT OFF THE LOT!! I recently purchased a 2013 Accord EX-L (my first new car) and it has been a bad experience ever since. First it took them 6 months to replace leather interior that was faded when I bought it and noticed the damage about 3 days later when the leather cleaner dried off. Then when I went back to them about it and they said there was nothing they can do about it, that is normal wear and tear. O.o I continued to argue as to how the heck a $32k car already has this until they finally sent me to the service center which was inspected by a representative from Honda and the Director of Parts and Service Ken. BOTH admitted to seeing the damage but according to them there was nothing wrong with the car and they didn't see the big deal of the leather interior. (PAY OVER $30k for a car in which you saved for 6 years while being deployed and tell me whether its a big deal or not!) Long story short, after making various phone calls to the RUDE Honda Case manager in California, I took it to another shop and it got fixed. (Nothing happened until I seriously went to the dealer ready to leave the car with its keys and request for a refund.) This whole process took about 6 months worth of calls and visits.. Total waste of time... Seriously unacceptable! Then my dumb self got talked to into buying an extended warranty and oil changes for 36k miles in which I was being told that I can cancel it at any time as long as I don't use it, only to read the fine print and find out from a friend that the warranty is "limited" which the finance guy said it was a normal full warranty up to 100k. I paid an extra $1800 for these two warranties and service. When I decided to cancel it about 5 months later, I was only given $600 out of the $1800 that I originally paid. I haven't used the warranty whatsoever, and the car still has less then 5k miles on it. EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND HONDA ITSELF!! IF I had known better, I should have just spent the extra 10k and bought an Audi or BMW. I have heard nothing but good things about those companies from close friends and apparently it seems that I am not alone from recent conversations.... More
This dealership makes car buying a whole new experience. It's a great one! There is no pressure or wheeling and dealing. They stuck to the internet pricing they gave me a few days before! Johan Payero and Hamad Matari both went above and beyond to help me get my new car. Everyday they would keep in contact with me to update me on anything. This was my first time buying a car out of a dealers to help me get my new car. Everyday they would keep in contact with me to update me on anything. From the moment I made my appointment with the Service department I received five star service. The parts were ordered in advance, my car was taken by the service valet. I was greeted by the Manager, and department I received five star service. The parts were ordered in advance, my car was taken by the service valet. I was greeted by the Manager, and introduced to the associate who would be helping me; Natasha Nedd. She took great care to help me with my paperwork, show me to customer waiting area and make sure I had something to eat and some coffee to hold me over. The staff was accommodating, efficient and accurately estimated the amount of time it would take to install my roof rack/rails. When my car was ready, Natasha came to pick me up in the wait area, gave me her email in case I ever needed to reach her for any work to be done on my car or regular service calls. THAT is EXCELLENT, FRIENDLY service. THAT made me feel like I had gone to the right place, and I should stay with this company. More
