Called ahead and asked if they will be adding some dealer installed stuff that I don't need (ie door handle protection etc.) For a Hyundai venue .Was told it will be offered but it's optional. I asked multip installed stuff that I don't need (ie door handle protection etc.) For a Hyundai venue .Was told it will be offered but it's optional. I asked multiple times to make it clear. They said it's optional. Drove 2 hours with my wife and toddler. Test drove and while test driving I asked again and was told it's optional and I don't have to take it if I don't want to. So I agreed with the price and everything went smooth until I got to the finance manager who tried to intimidate me and insisted that the add ons are required. I explained to him that I was told it's optional. He said there must've been a misunderstanding and that there a long list of people interested in that car and he can't give it to me if I don't pay an extra $3900 for the add ons. I walk out. Fortunately found a better Hyundai dealer (premiere Hyundai in moreno valley)with no add ons and for a better car (Kona) for less price than what they were asking for the venue after the "add ons" They were so upfront and easy to deal with I bought another one the following week. Bait and Switch. If I could rate this with zero or negative stars I would. I contacted the dealership initially explaining that I was representing a non-profit tha If I could rate this with zero or negative stars I would. I contacted the dealership initially explaining that I was representing a non-profit that supports kids and set up a time to go view the van. We drove the van down the street a bit and the salesman told me about the benefits and features, etc. When we got back to the dealership, he went in the back and came out with a price that was $10K more than what was advertised. He tried to fast talk us with the $1800 title/tax/license (which I understand and accept) and through the add-ons, like GPS tracking and all that. I asked him what the additional $7945 was and he tried to explain it off by saying that they "mark the cars at below Kelly Blue Book value, so the advertised price plus the extra $8K is what the van is really worth". Not surprisingly, we were flabbergasted. This is blatant bait and switch. We asked for him to take it off and he said he couldn't, so we left. I let him know that we would not have bothered coming down if it was the higher price (which is probably why they do that). On our way out, another person said "I hope everything went well for you" and I turned to explain the issue and he basically shrugged it off. I got an email from the salesman later that day that said "If anything changes, let me know". A few days later, I received an email from the manager asking if there was anything he could do to win my business so I responded to him and asked for his office hours so we could have a conversation about what transpired. I waited a few days for his response and after 5 days, sent another email basically letting him know that I was holding off on this review until he and I spoke so that he would have a chance to do what was right, but he never returned either of my emails. Looking at the comments and experiences with others on this site really drives home that it isn't a one-off for us, this is a method of business, and something that should be investigated by authorities, because their business practices are illegal. Absolute terrible experience. They falsely advertise their car prices online. There are “options” they have added on the cars that are supposed to “protect the dealers investment” They falsely advertise their car prices online. There are “options” they have added on the cars that are supposed to “protect the dealers investment”, whatever that means. Sales person was the worst individual I have ever encountered. Wasted our time by going in circles and by asking us the same questions. Wouldn’t give us pricing on the vehicle after copious times asking. Proceeded to make fun of us. Absolutely incredibly twisted swindlers. Stupid mark ups and terrible sales team. Do not go here. More

This dealership is dishonest and unprofessional to say the least. I drove almost 2 hours to see a Santa Fe I was interested in and planned on paying cash for. I also had a trade in that I was aware was up the least. I drove almost 2 hours to see a Santa Fe I was interested in and planned on paying cash for. I also had a trade in that I was aware was upside down. I did a lot of research prior to going to see the car, and I had specific but reasonable budget I needed to adhere to. First of all, when I got the initial price it had almost $15,000 worth of 'options' added on, some of which were additional warranties that were actually supposed to be included with a Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. The two managers I spoke with acted like they were doing me a favor to discount or take off a small amount of these 'options' that I did not need or want. The kicker was that they told me there was problem with the engine of my trade in vehicle which is why they could only offer me $1,500. One manager even tried to tell me it wasn't safe to drive. I wish I would have remembered before I left that I had just had my car appraised the day before at another Hyundai dealership for over 3 times what they offered with no mention of this 'serious engine problem'. They tried to con me into a finance contract for hours, and after getting to a number within my budget I almost agreed to it before they came back and told me the negative equity of my car was not included in the sales price. I had mentioned at least three times that the agreed upon price MUST include that amount, but they were so busy being dishonest about everything else, they must have missed that. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and the very next day I was able to find another Santa Fe at a different dealership with virtually the same options and mileage for over $10,000 less. Oh yeah, and they gave me $5,500 for my trade in that definitely does not have a major engine problem. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to buy a car from these swindlers. Be very cautious and do your homework if you're even considering a car from this place. There's plenty of other honest Hyundai dealerships to choose from, and I would recommend checking those out first. More
Unprofessional sales practice by Saif Mashhadani and this Dealership. They are advertising cars online for $35800. I offered them $35000 and they were asking where I got this number from. Here is what’s hap Dealership. They are advertising cars online for $35800. I offered them $35000 and they were asking where I got this number from. Here is what’s happening in there. They want someone who has not much of knowledge about cars, so they can put additional $5000-8000 from dealer add on. Buyers do go to this dealership, you have thousands of places you can go buy a car from. And of course stay away from Saif More
Very disappointed and frustrated with the service I received this morning for my pre-scheduled 10:15am appointment to take care of a Recall on my Santa Fe. At the very least, at the time I made the app received this morning for my pre-scheduled 10:15am appointment to take care of a Recall on my Santa Fe. At the very least, at the time I made the appointment, I should have been made aware of the construction and the issues it could cause, but nothing was said. When I arrived the dealership was in complete disarray due to construction to their Service Center. The were no signs or employees to guide customers so the front are was completely blocked off by customers in their vehicles not knowing where to go. Since there were no signs and I was blocked off to my right, I went to my left, past the Service Center thinking that they were checking in customers at the back side of the Service Area. Big mistake, the area was so packed in that I am very lucky I was not hit. I finally made it back up front and was able to find a parking spot and proceeded to walk inside the sales froor, where a makeshift service check in area was set up. I was then told that I needed to get in the line of cars that was at least a dozen cars long even though I explained that I had made an appointment and was there on time. At that point I said that I was going to reschedule and left. When I got home I called the dealership to speak to the Service Mananger but was told the Leonard never works on Saturdays and there was no other Manager could speak to until Tuesday. Completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to Garden Grove Hyundai and will be taking my business elsewhere when servicing my 2 Hyundai vehicles or making any additional purchases. More
Just as others have mentioned, this dealership 100% lies about their prices online. A mandatory $7000 in add ons to a $31k car. I can't wait until these garbage salesmen are out of business. Do NOT believe about their prices online. A mandatory $7000 in add ons to a $31k car. I can't wait until these garbage salesmen are out of business. Do NOT believe their online prices. As I write this review several hours later, their inaccurate price is STILL listed on their website. More
If I could give "0" star, I really want to give 0. At first a RUDE salesperson greeted us. I touched the stains on it because the car was DIRTY. The salesperson scolded me and said I damaged the car. At first a RUDE salesperson greeted us. I touched the stains on it because the car was DIRTY. The salesperson scolded me and said I damaged the car. they tried to sell the car for "$10,000" more than it was worth. As it was getting close to the end of the day, they made us sign the documents in a hurry. There was a document in these documents that agreed not to return it. no one explained what this document was. I felt CHEATED and SCAMMED by these behaviors. therefore I wanted to return the car, they were very RUDE. I called for 2 days and they could not connect me to the finance manager by phone. they STALLED me. When I went to the dealership today, they said again that I had no chance to return it. I ADVISE YOU NOT TO PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND WARN THOSE WHO WANT TO PURCHASE A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!! More
