Absolute terrible experience. They falsely advertise their car prices online. This dealership is dishonest and unprofessional to say the least. I drove almost 2 hours to see a Santa Fe I was interested in and planned on paying cash for. I also had a trade in that I was aware was upside down. I did a lot of research prior to going to see the car, and I had specific but reasonable budget I needed to adhere to. First of all, when I got the initial price it had almost $15,000 worth of 'options' added on, some of which were additional warranties that were actually supposed to be included with a Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. The two managers I spoke with acted like they were doing me a favor to discount or take off a small amount of these 'options' that I did not need or want. The kicker was that they told me there was problem with the engine of my trade in vehicle which is why they could only offer me $1,500. One manager even tried to tell me it wasn't safe to drive. I wish I would have remembered before I left that I had just had my car appraised the day before at another Hyundai dealership for over 3 times what they offered with no mention of this 'serious engine problem'. They tried to con me into a finance contract for hours, and after getting to a number within my budget I almost agreed to it before they came back and told me the negative equity of my car was not included in the sales price. I had mentioned at least three times that the agreed upon price MUST include that amount, but they were so busy being dishonest about everything else, they must have missed that. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and the very next day I was able to find another Santa Fe at a different dealership with virtually the same options and mileage for over $10,000 less. Oh yeah, and they gave me $5,500 for my trade in that definitely does not have a major engine problem. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to buy a car from these swindlers. Be very cautious and do your homework if you're even considering a car from this place. There's plenty of other honest Hyundai dealerships to choose from, and I would recommend checking those out first. More

Very disappointed and frustrated with the service I received this morning for my pre-scheduled 10:15am appointment to take care of a Recall on my Santa Fe. At the very least, at the time I made the appointment, I should have been made aware of the construction and the issues it could cause, but nothing was said. When I arrived the dealership was in complete disarray due to construction to their Service Center. The were no signs or employees to guide customers so the front are was completely blocked off by customers in their vehicles not knowing where to go. Since there were no signs and I was blocked off to my right, I went to my left, past the Service Center thinking that they were checking in customers at the back side of the Service Area. Big mistake, the area was so packed in that I am very lucky I was not hit. I finally made it back up front and was able to find a parking spot and proceeded to walk inside the sales froor, where a makeshift service check in area was set up. I was then told that I needed to get in the line of cars that was at least a dozen cars long even though I explained that I had made an appointment and was there on time. At that point I said that I was going to reschedule and left. When I got home I called the dealership to speak to the Service Mananger but was told the Leonard never works on Saturdays and there was no other Manager could speak to until Tuesday. Completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to Garden Grove Hyundai and will be taking my business elsewhere when servicing my 2 Hyundai vehicles or making any additional purchases. More
Just as others have mentioned, this dealership 100% lies about their prices online. A mandatory $7000 in add ons to a $31k car. I can't wait until these garbage salesmen are out of business. If I could give "0" star, I really want to give 0. At first a RUDE salesperson greeted us. I touched the stains on it because the car was DIRTY. The salesperson scolded me and said I damaged the car. As it was getting close to the end of the day, they made us sign the documents in a hurry. There was a document in these documents that agreed not to return it. no one explained what this document was. I felt CHEATED and SCAMMED by these behaviors. therefore I wanted to return the car, they were very RUDE. I called for 2 days and they could not connect me to the finance manager by phone. they STALLED me. When I went to the dealership today, they said again that I had no chance to return it. I ADVISE YOU NOT TO PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND WARN THOSE WHO WANT TO PURCHASE A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!! More
Do not believe anything they say, they act friendly but 100% liars. Dec 1st, 2022, found a great price online, came in, test drove the vehicle, it was quite dirty (should have been my first clue to leave) 100% liars. Start the buying process with Adam in Sales, tell them no add ons, get the price back with over 10k in add ons. No, I don't want any of this I say. It takes them forever (Should have been my second clue to walk) to come back and I have my 9 month old daughter with me so time is of the essence. Still over 5k in add ons, again, I say no, and it takes forever again for them to come back (I really should have walked but it's a 30 minute drive and I didn't want to have to come back with a baby that hates to be in the car). I've learned that is their tactic, take forever which wears you down. Even when I said I need to get my daughter home and I'll come back tomorrow, they say it will only take 45 more minute....ok....liars.....finally get through everything hours later with the price with way too many add ons cus they cannot sell it without the add ons they say, and it's the evening, and my mom drives the car home so I drive myself and my daughter home. Next day, see the vehicle "clean," and just completely shocked this is a certified used vehicle, I thought this had to be inspected......complete disaster. I go right back to the dealership with this vehicle and try to demand for them to take it back, or fix it......finally after a lot of hassle and lies and way too many trips back and forth with a screaming baby they fix most of the issues. Then at the end of the month, Dec 30th, they call me asking for the money for the registration (Ive only had the car a week since they took forever fixing it and I don't even have the title and I paid cash), threatening my car will be late on registration if I don't pay now.....xxx....I thought I already paid it when I bought the vehicle. I drive all the way back ask for proof and low and behold they hand me the paid registration (today's date that it was paid), obviously wasn't going to pay it since it's already paid. They were literally fishing for more money....crooks.... More
