My current Subaru died, and I needed a new car quickly I had just started working with Dave Novik, as I knew my current Subaru Forester was about to "go," after having served me faithfully for 14 years. The day after that, Dave spent his entire day, very patiently trying to find a car for me that fit my needs and my finances. I had brought a can of soup for lunch that I had intended to take to work when we were done with the arrangements. The transaction took a little longer than I had planned. Dave was very generous and offered to go to a local deli and purchase some soup for me (at his expense). I am so appreciative for his kindness, his caring and his patience. Having to say goodbye to my old car was very emotional for me, and he made the transition easier. Paul Albert was also very helpful in hunting for a proper financing arrangement that would suit my needs. Tom Nerreau in financing was also very patient and helpful. It was a very stressful situation for me, and his compassion and understanding was wonderful. More

Experience in Buying a Used Car During my first visit to Subaru I met Dave and a guess I was impressed, although I really didn't recall that first encounter very well at that moment During my first visit to Subaru I met Dave and a guess I was impressed, although I really didn't recall that first encounter very well at that moment -- but I came back to the dealership when it was time for me to actually purchase a new used vehicle, so here is a shout out for first impressions! Garavel Subaru is great at matching customer with automobile -- both in terms of use and cost and in facilitating the process (interface w/DMV, insurance transfer, setting up the loan, etc.) It was one stop shopping! I was so lucky to have Corey as my salesman as he turned the experience, which could be intimidating, into an easy tour of available inventory and finding what was best for me. The huge amount of paperwork involved in a car purchase was boiled down into a simple process by Jose who gave me much confidence that I was working with a competent and honest group. The gentleman who handled the trade-in had a lot of experience and made me feel that he was working in my interest (I didn't get his name). And the folks at the service end, with whom I will deal in the future, were welcoming and willing to talk to me. I am very grateful for this group as they usually bear the brunt of customer issues. So I am a happy camper so far in dealing with Garavel Subaru Norwalk and I am glad to have the opportunity to write this review. More
