A+ experience! The best dealership! Highly recommend! I already knew and loved Subaru, having owned my previous Forester for the past 7 years, so I knew this was the car I wanted. What I wasn't sure about was which dealership I would work with to get my new Forester. Once I got to Garavel, I was instantly sure this was the right place. Everybody was very knowledgable and friendly. They worked to help me get the exact car I wanted at a price I was happy with. They also accommodated my complicated schedule with a young baby, full time job and the fact that my husband and I live in a different state from Connecticut. Elvin gave me his cellphone number so I could easily text him questions when they occurred to me and he called me back right away as well. Joe and Elvin were reachable by email easily as well. Miles and Tom are also really first rate-- they have a knack for explaining things simply and they work to get you happy with the all-important financial part of the transaction. We also love Miles' mastiff. She's gorgeous. You can't find a better car than a Subaru, and I really think you also can't find a better Subaru dealer than Garavel! There is a lot of stock of a variety of Subaru vehicles with a range of options so you can nail down exactly what you're looking for, even if it isn't on-site the day you are visiting with them. I got my 1st STI hatch back LE and then I got a Impreza sedan for my wife and most recently my new 2016 WRX. One thing I truly appreciated was to have a salesman who knew what he was talking about , he knew his product. This isn't always the case I have had many car salesmen who knew less about the car than I did. Also he wasn't pushy calling me 5 times a day wanting to earn my biz. My salesman in the onset was Miles I got my STI from him, well he is manager now so he sent me to Gary Bauman. Gary was extremely thorough like I said he knew his product. He followed up after a week or so to see if I still liked driving the car. Uh YAY!!!! I love my Subaru one of the best cars I ever owned. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a fair shake and excellent service. Tell Gary or Miles John G sent you. More
