I purchased a brand new 2010 mustang and I got a great deal on this car. This pony car is an awesome car, just make sure you don't race it through canyon roads. Make sure you test drive everything you want and take as long as you want. It's going to be you car so and you are the one paying. My sales guy was Jeremy and he was very patient from the beginning to the end. I will definitely coming back to get my mustang GT500 some day. More
When I bought the new 2011 Ford Explorer, I got completey ripped off. They actually sold me the car over the MSRP sticker price by 400 dollars. It was the only one left with the color I wanted and they did not give me a lot of room to bargin, so I was blind sided and they ripped me off good for, about 3,000 dollars. Do not buy from them, they will rip you off. At least I got the car I wanted but I felt ripped off. I actually did my homework on the internet and everybody had it priced at $28,345...I paid $29,994....what a rip off. I was very disappointed that I did not get a good deal. Galpin actually sold me the car over the MSRP sticker price. Nobody ever paid over the sticker price. More
We shopped on line for a vehicle and found a perfect match. When we arrived, we were introduced to a salesperson (not the person who contacted us via email and voicemail). We were shown a large field of Ford Escapes and then spent hours with Preston. The prices offered (both lease and purchae) were simply out of line When we refused to accept the offers (because we were not stupid), Preston started to ridcule us and attempted to intimidate us into accepting the offers. When we decided to leave, he walked away and kept us waiting for minutes until he returned our current vehicle's key (the key was taken from us for an appraisal). He was simply unprofessional. Stay away from this guy and Galpin. Go to Power Ford in Valencia - we had a complete opposite experience there. More
Very Painless process. Went in knowing what I wanted and the price I was willing to pay. Did not have exact car, however was able to get the extra package at invoice. What can I say about Galpin Ford? They are the best. I'm Kevin Berry and I recently bought an F150 pick up from Galpin. I was helped by Phil Englander and he did everything in his power to help me. He didn't try to sell me the truck, he tried to help meet my needs buying the truck. I won't go into details on the deal but I have a disabled son, was upside down in the car I owned and had bad BAD credit. Phil Englander talked to Ford directly, explained my situation, and worked with me on the deal. He got me the truck I wanted at a price I could afford. Wait....I know what you are thinking...Kevin, you got a basic stripped down truck at a high interest rate due to your credit and they didn't even try to help...NO...I got an F150 Super Crew Ford FX2 LOADED....my payments? $250 bucks less than I expected them to be and right where I could afford and appreciate the truck. Financing? Through Ford and at a rate that made me cry. Before this truck, my son had to lay down in the back seat of my car AND the wheelchair didn't fit in the trunk. NOW, my son gets out of the chair and hops up into the cab like nothing. The greatest joy of this is seeing the smile on his face because of his sense of self accomplishment. He actually has a can do attitude and wants to only take the truck when we go places because now, he can do it himself. Galpin went overboard on us. They didn't act like car salesmen. They didn't try to cheat me as car salesmen are known for. They treated us like family. In fact, we almost consider them family. I will never buy another vehicle from anywhere else. PERIOD I would like anyone to challenge my review. PROVE ME WRONG... I was turned down by other dealers....in fact, just down the street from Galpin Ford, we were turned down by a Ford dealer that promised us the best deal possible. They made us sit there for 8 hours on a Sunday night to tell us no after telling us all the way up to that yes. In fact, they lied to us. We found out later that this dealership didn't even run our credit. How can they turn us down? The salesmanager answered that with "I want to make money on you and you are too smart to let me" Exactly his response when I questioned him on turning us down. We left there, spent 45 minutes with Phil Englander at Galpin Ford and that was only to do the closing paperwork. You want a car or truck and you want it the right way..where you actually walk away feeling good about the purchase???? GO TO GALPIN!!! Tell Phil that Kevin Berry sent you and see how you are treated. By the way, I do not work for Galpin. I've never worked for Galpin and I am not assocated with them. This is simply a satisfied customer singing the praises of a dream come true and if you don't believe me, I would be glad to send you pictures of my family and I in the truck, my son's mile long grin because he can do it himself!!!! I hate to this, but I have to share what they did to my wife's 10 years anniversary gift/ Valentines Day gift. They Sold me a car on Sat 2/6/10 paid $2000 drive-off and they agreed to have the car cleaned and ready for Monday the 8th. One hour after I left the dealer Mr. David Choi the Sales Manager called to let me know that deal was off and that was it. So I call them back and explain to them that I cannot take back a gift that I just gave to my wife. Mr. David Choi did not offer any options but to call the deal off. Next day on Sunday the 7th my brother-in-law and I went to see Mr. David Choi in his office to try to see what realy happend. After few minutes of talking very respectfully to Mr. David Choi, he simply kicked us out of his office. So I went ahead and file a lawsuite against the owner Mr. Herbert F Boeckmann II and his dealership Galpin Motors, Inc. I am also going to file a complain against the dealer with DMV Investigator, BBB, and Federal Trade Commission. Now, before I was going to do all this I did let them know of my actions and they simply told me off. This company must learn a good lesson, please beware. More
I've only had one bad experience at Galpin service dept. That was with a guy who's no longer there, I now see why he's gone. I didn't buy my car from Galpin, but the way I was taken care of, you wouldn't know it. I had a warranty issue that one service writer told me FORD wouldn't fix. I left po'd, I went back a few months later long after my warranty had expired. I told them what had transpired with the first service writer. I explained the situation, and Jermaine Nixon took my car and got the problem fixed for a very minor co-pay on my part. Galpin saved me money, and made me love my car again. Next time I want a new car I'll be going to Galpin for sure! More
