My wife and I do not have the best of credit. But we had heard their commercials on KKLA, a local Christian radio station, several times. I contacted Galpin Ford through their website and eventually started up the deal with Gary and TC. After several hours of talking over the phone, a deal was struck, a car picked out and all I had to do was how up the next morning with my wife. Needless to say, I had to end up ruining the surprise because when I suggested we go out and look at cars, she showed no interest only because she knew we didn't have the money to buy one, so why go look and only wish on the car of her dreams. Little did she know, I made her dream a reality. So because she did not want to go, I had to tell her, well, then I guess if we don't go, you won't be able to drive home in your new Mustang. Her eyes lit up and teared up at the same time. She thought I was joking with her, but I wasn't and I had to show her the Mustang picked out for her on Galpin's website. She was happy. Brownie point for me!! After the papers were signed, TC really took care of us. He took the time to show us the vehicles SYNC program and how to use it. Thank you TC. Jim & Patrick helped us through the process of trading our old car and purchasing new car smoothly. They weren't pushy like most salesperson. This is the worst dealer I've ever been to. I was interested in purchasing a Ford Focus SE, and the sales representative (Tim Mangandi) gave me a quote on the car I wanted. I asked him in an email s interested in purchasing a Ford Focus SE, and the sales representative (Tim Mangandi) gave me a quote on the car I wanted. I asked him in an email specifically if the quote he gave me was for an automatic transmission, and he confirmed. He then called me twice a day everyday to pressure me to visit the dealership. I wasn't sure at the time because I wanted to have an out of the door price for the car I wanted, and he kept refusing to give me a final price. Instead, he assured me that there were over 250 Focus to choose from, and there would be one that would fit my need and budget. I still wasn't convinced and asked my husband to call again, Tim gave the same answer. It was a long long drive for us to get to the dealership, I was expecting to seal the deal within an hour (Tim promised that too), and with the price he quoted me. When I got to the dealership, I was greeted by another salesman named Ivan Remirez, and when I told him the quote that Tim gave me, he started to say that it was impossible, and the quote was for a manual transmission car. I even showed him the emails Tim sent me, and Ivan still said that there was a misunderstanding of the quote. I was very upset after driving a long way to only find out I was misled by these people, but I was stupid enough to give Ivan's manager (don't know his name) another chance to sell me another car that's way over my original quote. He said that if I traded in my car, it would be the same price as the original quote. Of course, an hour later, they came back with a price for my trade-in for $1000 while I got the quote from CarMax for $5000 the same day!!! I think they were just trying to get me out of the door at that point and pissed me off even more with a super low trade in value. I don’t understand why they keep saying they want to see happy customers while they purposely mislead people to increase their chance for a sale. I am very disappointed at this dealership and I would never recommend it to anybody, even my worst enemy. More
