Our interest was in a Rav4 lease under a national program, but we wanted to make sure that the dealer had inventory of the specific vehicle and that the dealer would honor the program. So after calli program, but we wanted to make sure that the dealer had inventory of the specific vehicle and that the dealer would honor the program. So after calling the dealer ahead of time and checking on specific inventory, we were assured that inventory was available (3 at the time) and that they would be available under Toyota's national lease program. We spent over 90 minutes at the dealer first waiting then inspecting the vehicles available. Again, we were assured that the vehicle was available under the program, so we went for a test drive. Convinced that we wanted the car, we asked the salesman to write-up the specific numbers for leasing the car under the national program. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for him to return, he informed us that he was unwilling to lease the vehicle under the terms of the national program!!! His reasoning was that he had too few vehicles on the lot (well of course, it was nearing the end of the 3rd quarter of the model year!!!!) and that he felt he could get more for the car. This was despite the assurances we received before and during our visit to the dealership that the vehicles were available under Toyota's national lease offer!!! This obviously didn't matter to Mr. Bahary as he became more and more indignant in his demeanor, telling us to go to another dealer if we wanted!!! Our experience with Galaxy is one of those situations that leads a person to tell as many people as possible about the extraordinarly negative experience in hopes that others do not fall victim to the same treatment. More

They quote rates then come back with higher rates. This dealership is the worse in Monmouth County. They take advantage of young customers and give Toyota a bad name. From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted by Barbara (I think?) in reception, offered something to drink, and warmly welcomed in a way that I had not experienced at any of the other MANY dealers Barbara (I think?) in reception, offered something to drink, and warmly welcomed in a way that I had not experienced at any of the other MANY dealerships I visited prior to this stop. Joe is young (which maybe makes some buyers apprehensive), but he knows what he's doing & is friendly, knowledgeable & committed to good customer service. Both Joe and Paul worked to get me a great deal on a car that I love & I wouldn't hesitate to send my friends and co-workers their way. After visiting a string of dealerships over the course of a week, Galaxy Toyota was, hands-down, the best over-all dealership in my opinion. Great service, great financing department (Paul gave me a number on the sales floor and didn't try to change it or mysteriously add to it once we got to the back to really talk numbers), and very friendly staff. They all stayed late on New Year's Eve to make the sale (which obviously helped them), but it was a true sign of good customer relations. Even when I returned the next day with my trade-in, everyone was just as friendly and helpful even though they'd already made the sale and had no more incentive to try to be nice to make a sale. I saw another negative review of Galaxy & maybe it was just the people I dealt with, but I couldn't disagree more with the negative ratings. I've only received one e-mail since my purchase & I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the deal and service I received from everyone at Galaxy. More
