Galaxy Toyota has repeatedly demonstrated a pattern of misrepresentation, dishonesty, and refusal to address documented defects in my brand‑new Toyota Tundra. Despite providing clear photographic and vide misrepresentation, dishonesty, and refusal to address documented defects in my brand‑new Toyota Tundra. Despite providing clear photographic and video evidence of multiple ongoing issues, I have been dismissed, given contradictory explanations, and ultimately told to “deal with it.” Their conduct reflects: False statements about scheduled appointments Misrepresentation of services performed Failure to investigate or repair safety‑related defects Dismissive and unprofessional responses to legitimate concerns Based on my experience, I strongly caution consumers to avoid Galaxy Toyota at all cost. Their handling of my vehicle and their disregard for documented safety issues raise serious concerns about their integrity and their commitment to customer safety. More

It had been at least two decades since I've purchased a new car and in getting older I had anxiety & trepidation about the engagement with a salesman. I was introduced to Jim Lozano, the salesman next up o new car and in getting older I had anxiety & trepidation about the engagement with a salesman. I was introduced to Jim Lozano, the salesman next up on the floor. The initial encounter went well because we were both of the same temperament, not aggressive as I certainly was not confrontational but cautious. I came armed with information from the website for models & .deals both in purchase & lease knowing that it was only an introduction. There was a pleasant exchange of information, an introduction to models I was interested in and conversation about a trade-in. That's when the floor manager stepped in on cue, to advance the close. There were probably two more conversations regarding the trade & appropriate lease. Surprisingly the negotiation went better than thought & were agreeable to both parties. Closing with finance was easier than expected and I'm now enjoying my RAV4. More
It is with great regret that I am even writing this review. I will start off by saying that I live 40 minutes away from Galaxy Toyota. However, I live 5 minutes away from Gateway Toyota. This is import review. I will start off by saying that I live 40 minutes away from Galaxy Toyota. However, I live 5 minutes away from Gateway Toyota. This is important to the story because I traveled out of my way to go to Galaxy, because of a previously enjoyable experience. My second experience has been much different to say the very least. I will start off with the good points - Greg Moore. Continues to be a gentleman, excellent salesman with respect for not only his customers but his career as well. Comes off as a genuine soul. I bought my 2nd 4Runner in 2021 from him. He is why I traveled 40 minutes to Eatontown to go to Galaxy to purchase my newest and 3rd 4Runner and did NOT stay in Toms River and go to Gateway. However, I purchased my 3rd 4Runner from Greg Moore at Galaxy Toyota. Our personal transaction was fine. I was told during our test drive that the truck was being driven by a staff member as a demo vehicle. Which - at that time meant nothing to me. It was a conversation of small talk because I was interested in the vehicle and it was not there the weekend prior..... but because.... this staff member had been driving it. Greg was able to obtain the vehicle from the staff member. That being said, since I purchased the vehicle, I have been filling the rear passenger tire with air since I left the lot. Originally, I thought - (day 1) Perhaps it was the cooler weather, they dont sit there and monitor the tires on a brand new vehicle. A few days later... I got another low pressure alert on my dash. I filled it again. Emailed Galaxy that I found this odd. Didn’t understand why a new tire would be leaking immediately. mentioned that maybe that staff member hit a nail since he had been driving it. i did not hear back. A few days after this, I emailed YET again because I was - again, filling my low pressure alert. I never got an email back, but I received a call from Service saying "yah bring the truck in, we will definitely fix that... you should not already be having an issue". I thought ok, cool. They will deal with this. Very respectable. WRONG. I got there. And I was given a bill for 341 dollars for a brand new tire…. Because… there was a NAIL IN THE TIRE!!! I let them know, that I should not have to pay for someone else’s nail… the tire has been doing this since day one. Tony, the floor/sales manager, nice guy but tries to do the “you pulled off the lot with the vehicle” kinda guy. Mike from service - super nice guy. Very easy and straight forward. Erica from service - respectful, kind and very sweet. Miguel - Service sales manager I believe - talk about dodging calls. He wouldn’t pick up the phone. Was told “he’s right here”….. to “ohhh yah know I think he is busy”…. Maybe he was the driver that was demoing that vehicle who is responsible for the nail…. Because he does not want to deal with any kind of issues. It’s very sad, that over a 341 dollar tire, that whoever was driving before me…, i am told “well you probably did this not us”. What??? Excuse me? I absolutely regret ever going back to Galaxy Toyota, I will never purchase another vehicle again from them. I do not recommend them…: unless you want to be master manipulated into paying for their mistakes on a figure of their lack of accountability. They should NOT be allowed to just drive brand new vehicles as leisure. And this is exactly why!!! Disgusting ethics, terrible way to run a business…. Loosing a customer over a tire, that your staff member ruined….. awful. If I had it to do all over again. I would just stayed in Tom’s River with Gateway. -SW More
