I dread buying new cars because I usually get ripped off. I ended up seeing Mike at Galaxy twice. The first time, i just wanted some information on the new 2012 Prius. He was friendly and knowledgeable an I ended up seeing Mike at Galaxy twice. The first time, i just wanted some information on the new 2012 Prius. He was friendly and knowledgeable and did not pressure me at all which is the main reason I am giving him all 5's. He gave me honest answers and did not try to scam or mis-represent anything. I left the dealership that day and tried a few other cars (Honda, Ford and Hyundai) and in the end decided to get the Prius. I did the research and came up with a fair price. When I returned to Galaxy and told Mike the price I wanted to pay and he didn't even counter, he just said "OK" and made it happen. I was pretty shocked as I though he would at least come back and try to hit me for a few hundred more, but nope, he gave me the exact price I wanted to the penny! Also, you get free services for the first 2 years on new cars and a free detailing which was a nice surprise too! I would recommend this guy highly if I knew anyone else that wanted a Toyota or Scion, and if I get another Toyota in the next few years I'd go back to him for sure. More

After working with the dealer on a lease buy out for two hours, we were sent home without closure. The next day we found out their interest rate was two percentage points higher than we could get at another hours, we were sent home without closure. The next day we found out their interest rate was two percentage points higher than we could get at another dealer an hour away. Their excuse was that they made no money on the deal and it was the bank that set the rates. Same state, same banks, same car, but two points higher? And no one is making money on this? Why does this sound like a lie? More
Mike's AWESOME!!! My girlfriend and I were in the market for a used vehicle for her. We were just trying to do our homework to narrow down options. After visiting a few other dealerships we were totally frustrated by the refusal to provided us any information without making a commitment to do a deal that same day. We're buying a car not joining a gym so I cannot stand the "I can give you a break today only BS" Michael DePonte from Galaxy couldn't have been more the opposite. After walking into Galaxy Mike immediately started to provide us with the info we were looking for so we could make a good decision. He explained in detail the current lease specials they were running and also showed us a few used vehicles he though we would like based on what we told him we were looking for. He even went out of his way to compare options that would help us stay within our monthly payment budget...ie.(if we leased, vs traded in a vehicle or put a certain amount of cash down). No hiding anything ...Mike's a straight shooter...this is the car, the price and payment. Overall Mike's not only good at what he does but is also a great guy. More salesmen should follow his lead and I guarantee they'd up their production. He defies the car salesman stereotype and knows how to make people feel comfortable when purchasing a new vehicle. We would 100% return to Galaxy and also refer anyone to Mike. More

Mike made this the easiest buy. I told him what I was looking for, he took the time to describe the differences between models and prices. I was a little hesitant about coming back to this dealer after a looking for, he took the time to describe the differences between models and prices. I was a little hesitant about coming back to this dealer after a brief stop in back in Feb. But Mike definitely is what you want to look for in a salesman. He listened to what I told him I was looking for. He brought a car around for a test drive that he thought I had in mind. He basically let me make the decision and didnt make me feel like thats the only option I had. I would definitely recommend anyone to Mike and I hope he will still be with Toyota when i come back for another. Ps,Caroline was also very helpful and patient with me on the phone. Peter Otis was a very professional and knowledgeable salesman. He took the time to review the car I purchased in detail and answered my questions, especially those centered on my concerns. Thus I left the dealership to consider the possilbe transaction and clearly review the meeting before deciding to purchase the vehicle, which I did.
