Some background. I spoke to Kellie letting her know that we were interested in the Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE. We informed her it was a hike for us to their dealership so we wanted to know if a car was available we were interested in the Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE. She told us that markup is 1-4K and if we’re interested and came over they would meet us “midway”. We went and we were met by Robert who said 5k or the highway and ONLY if you agree will I let you test drive. We decided to leave. On our way out he tells us that feel free to shop around, you won't get a better deal. Boy was he wrong! We went to another dealership that took us seriously, worked with us on the new car, and trade-in. We ended up driving away with a fully loaded RAV4 Prime XSE the same day. We did not pay anywhere near the premium this dealership was asking. More
