I was able to buy the Ranger I wanted, at very close to the price I wanted. My salesman was super helpful and the car was very well detailed and topped off with gas when I arrived to pick it up. I purchased about 15 ford vehicles from different Ford locations in the Bay Area. I have had an interesting experience with this specific location and it's team/management that I would like to share with locations in the Bay Area. I have had an interesting experience with this specific location and it's team/management that I would like to share with anyone to warn them from using this location. I purchased a brand new 2019 Ford Transit back in April 2019. Within a couple of months of driving it it started having engine and transmission issues and would start shaking and turn off unexpectedly. With only 5,000 miles and 2 months on the vehicle and an active warranty, they have tried charging me for the repairs needed. I had to fight for the service I deserve to get and eventually they took it for service. They took it for an entire month (!) with 0 options to get updates on the status or progress being made (!!). In the meantime they couldn't offer a comparable replacement vehicle and obviously the small private vehicle option they had is not a good fit for work, so I had to rent another vehicle for a whole month and spent about $1,000 for it. They eventually gave me the vehicle back and as soon as I started driving it I noticed it's making really strange and noise sounds from the engine. Sounds like a car that is on the road for 40 years. It was shaking and rattling. So I brought it back to them within a couple of days and they blew me off and said that it was nothing to worry about and that the vehicle is working. A couple of months after, same issue, the car won't turn off. This time at about 11,000 miles on it. Same process - they refused service or any responsibility on this brand new vehicle I purchased from them. After fighting them they agreed to try again. They didn't accept the vehicle back no matter what I did. The vehicle was down again for about a month and same here, they couldn't provide a comparable vehicle so I was stuck and had to rent my own so I can continue to work. After a month I got it back, with the same noises, shaking and rattling. It's been working for about 14 months now, and again a few days ago the transmission stopped working on the vehicle turns off unexpectedly. The car is still 2 years old, I bought it brand new. Now is has about 80,000 miles on it and they ask for $8,000 to fix the transmission even though they have the history and record that it always had problems since the beginning. We knew it was going to be an issue but they didn't take it back and made the whole process a nightmare. Listen guys, it could happen to any dealership. It's not their fault the car is a Lemon. But it was their decision how to handle this and how to take care of the situation and their customer. And that was the absolute worst I have seen. Buying a vehicle from a dealership is not about the quality of the car. Every Ford dealership offers the same cars from the same manufacturer. It's about the customer service and knowing that there will be someone there to help you and take care of you when things aren't going us expected. This should be a lesson about this dealership and their ways of doing business. Its along the lines of - Take the car as you see it, give us the money, then we don't want to hear from you again unless you're buying another car or paying for service. There are many dealerships in the area that offers the same vehicles. Don't take your chances. Hope this will save even one person the headache and trouble. More
Frank Puga is fantastic! This was my first time getting my vehicle serviced and I had a wonderful experience. Easy drop-off, high attention and effort to get me set up with the specific inspection I came i my vehicle serviced and I had a wonderful experience. Easy drop-off, high attention and effort to get me set up with the specific inspection I came in for (with a difficult vehicle), and I was very happy with the time estimate. I’ll be back! More
