It meant traveling I'd bought four Hondas over the past twenty years or so, and so I knew what I wanted when I went to Friendly Honda in Poughkeepsie. It meant traveling a bit, since I'd had negative experiences with my own local Honda dealer, but then, I'd traveled more than 100 miles to buy an Accord ten years ago, and Friendly was only thirty miles away. Thankfully, I wasn't disappointed. The sales rep keyed into my preferences, rather than trying to convince me to buy what he or the dealership might have had in mind, and all aspects of the transaction went as smoothly as I would have wanted.
