I was considering buying a Prius for a very long time and visited Fremont Toyota several times before finally buying it. I don’t take a poor review lightly but my experience was far from positive. After visiting several dealerships over a few months I found the vehicle I wanted at Fremont Toyota and admittedly purchased it t far from positive. After visiting several dealerships over a few months I found the vehicle I wanted at Fremont Toyota and admittedly purchased it too quickly so I didn’t notice all if the issues it had. I paid more than the vehicle was worth because it had aftermarket parts but that was a huge mistake. The test drive was straight and smooth so I didn’t notice the dangers until I got to bumpier roads after the purchase was complete. At which time the tires violently contacted the inner fenders which had been cut to accommodate the larger wheels. The jagged metal was cutting the tires both at full turn and over any bumps. As is the vehicle is unsafe. I also noticed a cracked windshield and a nail in one tire. Which again my fault for not noticing earlier but the dealership did assure me the vehicle passed a thorough inspection. I contacted the dealership to address these safety concerns and they offered no solution. They told me I could take a huge loss and trade it in but they would not help me offset the cost nor did they offer any refund to cover the cost of repairs. As of now I will need to spend over $5000 just to make the car safe. More

Had reported the flat tire sensor was not working. When I picked up the car, it was not fixed. Call the advisor--was told they need to diagnose the issue again. He did not seem to care.
