I spoke to him over the phone prior to arriving and he was very professional both on the phone as well as in person. Although I wish the dealer had a shuttle service from Bart station. Many people who are without a car have to take a public transportation and may arrive at the Fremont Bart station. The dealer location is not very convenient from any public transportation and I wish the dealer had a shuttle service. But otherwise it was a good experience. More

During the purchase of the car I was put told repeatedly by the sales woman by phone that she would get back to me in a few minutes because of dealing with other customers. It would be a couple of hours, and then I would call the dealership and speak again to the saleswoman. This occurred throughout the first day never culminating in the purchase of the car. It wasn't until the following morning after I sent a threatening text stating, "better service" or I would like a different salesperson. Therefore, the second day of service was much improved having to be prompted by a threat. Second, the car was transported, and I was told the fee would be $400, but when the vehicle was delivered the two people delivering the car stated it was $500, the extra hundred to pay for their gas. Third, the financial officer told me that no interest would accrue during the interim where I am in there process of securing a low interest loan with another lender, but lo and behold, I was told by a agent with Toyota Financial Services that interest begins to accrue on the date of purchase. So, my overall buying experience was poor from beginning to end. More

Too slow I was hesitant to get my car serviced due to Covid-19 but after 9 months I figured I better get it done, hoping that they would adjust their procedure I was hesitant to get my car serviced due to Covid-19 but after 9 months I figured I better get it done, hoping that they would adjust their procedures with safety in mind. Made an appointment, went there and let the service person know I'll be waiting on-site since it's too far to go back and forth. Was told it would take 2 hours. Check with the service person after 2.5 hours and was told it will take another hour. Checked back after 1 hour and was told it will take another 45 minutes. After waiting another hour it's finally ready for a total of 4.5 hours. And this is for minor service, oil and filter change plus a software update as part of a factory recall. I'm disappointed that in these times they're actually make people wait around for so long but also the lack of communication. I have to keep checking to see what the status is rather than anyone communicating t he continuous delays. Seems every time I visit it takes 3-4 hours regardless of how small the service. I can understand if they are busy but perhaps they should reduce the number of customers they accept during a day to lessen the waiting times. Once my pre-paid service is up, I'll consider servicing my car somewhere else. More
