New car purchase I needed a new car and wanted something with four-wheel drive an a manual transmission. I checked out various vehicle manufacturers and compared vehicle ratings, features, prices, etc. Jeep was the best match and the Compass was the model in my price range. I stopped in at Fred Frederick and started browsing around the lot to see what was there and what appealed to me. I knew they did not have the one I wanted. David Sutton came out within a couple of minutes and asked if he could help and what I was looking for. I explained and he said the best way to get what I wanted was to order one custom manufactured. We built one online and I looked at the price. It was close to what I expected based on the research I had done, but I said I wanted to think about it. I returned that afternoon and asked what I could get for my car as a trade-in. I also asked about a test drive and we scheduled one for a couple days out. That went well. My wife was with me than and asked about some equipment I had not considered. We found a couple of option packages that provided the equipment with some nice additions. We edited the car we built and reviewed the new price. Since that was a good price, we placed the order. When the car arrived, everything was in place and the paperwork went quickly and smoothly. Even with the familiarization that David did for me, I was only at Fred Frederick for about an hour. Since that time, David has checked in with me to check if I needed any help from him and answer any questions. The experience purchasing my new Compass has been the smoothest of any vehicle I have purchased. David pays attention to the conversations and makes sure that what annoys customers don't happen and what customers are looking for go smoothly. I am very pleased with the vehicle and the service from Fred Frederick, particularly David Sutton. More
