We were very happy with Chip Clements, Phil Hoffman and especially Jose Garayua. We also have an Elantra and regularly use Fred Beans service department. Because I work close by, I'm usually the drop off person. The service department is great. I always appreciate the ride I'm provided into work. I do miss having a bench outside to wait on. More

Poor follow up with service concerns despite assurances Please allow me to express my dissatisfaction with a situation that I experienced in regards to my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I took the vehicle to the Fre Please allow me to express my dissatisfaction with a situation that I experienced in regards to my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I took the vehicle to the Fred Beans Hyundai in Doylestown, Pa, after the fuel door would not open. I dropped it off on June 16 and picked it up on June 17, 2016 Initially I was told that the issue should be covered by the warrantee along with another issue that my front passenger window switch was broken. On the day of the appointment, the service representative told me both issues would be covered. They finally got to the car after over 6 hours. They found that the cable had become disconnected and they were able to reconnect it and make it functional again. However at that point they now called the “repair” an “adjustment” since they did not have to replace the part. They further stated that “adjustments” were not covered by the warrantee. I found this very unsettling. The Hyundai website states to potential buyers that Hyundai has the best warrantee in the country. Your employees use particular language in the sales and service process “Repairs” are covered and “adjustments” are not. When it comes time to make good on your promise the Company or at least your employee’s change the meaning of the words you use. Now an “adjustment “ means any repair that does not involve a replacement part. This seems a misrepresentation of the terms of the warrantee. I respectfully request that you communicate clearly to your customers and your employees the actual terms of the warrantee. Secondly In the meantime I expect that you will honor the terms of the warrantee that your language implies and refund to me the charge to repair my fuel cap cable. After contact and several assurances from customer service that a representatives would follow up, after more than a month I have still not heard from them.
