Disposition Fee Unfortunately I believed the salesman Craig Leonard when he told me that we wouldn't be charged a disposition fee upon returning a leased 2013 Hyunda Unfortunately I believed the salesman Craig Leonard when he told me that we wouldn't be charged a disposition fee upon returning a leased 2013 Hyundai Elantra . The truth is there would be no disposition fee ($400) if we leased another car once our initial lease was over. Craig neglected to mention that so we signed the lease and of course the salesman swears that he would have disclosed the fact that there is a disposition fee unless we leased another Hyundai. So after paying Hyundai Finance a total of $10524 for a 3 year lease, they want another $428 because we're not leasing another car from them. Guess what Hyundai, you're NOT getting any more money from me and I hope anyone who reads this review makes sure that the part about the disposition fee is crossed out and initialed. More

DECEIT, MISREPRESENTATION, and worst of all RUDE!! DECEITFUL, FRAUDULENT, MISREPRESENTATION, and maybe worst of all RUDE! PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU NEGOTIATE WITH THEM!!!! THEY WILL TRY TO PULL A FAST ONE ON YOU! -man oh man I really wish I did not have to return back to this site and edit my previous review. However, after being hung up on by the Store Manager Lenny I have no choice but let people know the kind of business that is being run over at Franklin Sussex Hyundai. I bought a vehicle from this dealer about a month ago. The actual store experience was pleasant (as you can see from my original review that I have left below) Eddie F. was a nice guy who showed my mother, girlfriend and myself around the lot to look at new cars. When I decided on a vehicle to purchase Eddie stipulated that Hyundai would "assume the lease" and further when I asked Eddie if "my obligation in regards to the lease were over" he replied "yes, Hyundai assumes all obligations." Eddie then called VW Finance (my old lease) to figure out the cost of going over miles, which we figured out and was rolled into the lease. He then inspected the vw for what he lead me to believe was an estimate on the wear and tear. He went took notice of the dents dings, any scratches and came back to me with a price for the whole car from I guess would be his manager. Then I was on my way. Unfortunately, things soured when I received a bill from VW for wear and tear. I was quite surprised to receive this because I was under the assumption that Hyundai would "assume all obligations under the lease." When I called Eddie to ask what was up with this he told me that even though he said "all obligations were assumed by Hyundai, all could not have included the obligation to pay wear and tear because that was up to VW to determine." I asked why then inspect the vehicle if all hyundai is going to do is turn it in. Eddie responded with "well that inspection was for my boss to decide whether or not to turn you previous car in or to purchase it." Eddie further explained that he was correct to say ALL obligations because if they had decided to purchase the vehicle then there would have been no wear and tear charge from VW. True I responded, but there was a 50-50 chance Hyundai wouldn't purchase the car and in that even I would have to pay for a wear and tear charge. Which would mean that telling me "all obligations" of mine were extinguished from the lease is an incorrect statement and by not disclosing to me that there is a chance of an obligation such as a wear and tear charge being an issue would be a material misrepresentation because in fact Hyundai did not "assume all obligations." To this I got a response explaining to me what wear and tear is, explaining to me that that is between myself and VW, and that the obligation of wear and tear has nothing to do with Hyundai. Again I tried to explain that I get what wear and tear is, and I get I made a lease with VW, but it was said to me three separate times that Hyundai would assume all obligations, and that was my gripe if you will. My conversation with Eddie ended there and then the next day I called the manager Lenny, who let me tell you is a piece of xxxx. After explaining to him the details of what Eddie said to me the day before Lenny decided it was a good idea to tell me "I dont know what you're looking for Bro, but you wont find any liability on me." I told him that I was looking for the conditions of my contract to be fulfilled and that if that was how he was going to talk to me "I would have to give the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs a call." In response to that the very intelligent store manager Lenny stated that they had a "very expensive lawyer on retainer," then hung up the phone me before I could explain to him that bill is for 1600 dollars and lawyers make about 300-800 dollars an hour and that it would be pretty stupid to cause yourself more trouble than is necessary (Hyundai will spend more than that on the case I will bring against them, even in small claims court (so way to go Lenny expensive lawyers aren't always good for you). This is where I stand today, I am calling the New Jersey AG's Office to report a violation of NJ Stat 56 8-2, which makes the use of fraud or misrepresentation an unlawful act in New Jersey. Yes, Lenny, I hope to one day be one of those expensive lawyers as I just took the NJ bar exam. So in summation, DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS. They will lie to you to get you into a car and then screw you on the back end. "Salesman Eddie F, is the man! Most impressed on how he treated my mother and girlfriend during the whole thing. Made sure they felt they were apart of the process too and recommended Sussex's finest restaurant for them when they got hungry." More
