Four months of anxious waiting and came to a wonderful close when my 2022 Platinum hybrid Highlander was delivered. Skeet Tuttle was continually attentive to my request and told me the vehicle will be del close when my 2022 Platinum hybrid Highlander was delivered. The vehicle arrived from Princeton Indiana just days before and we drove across the United States. We enjoyed driving for days this engineering marvel, a beautiful (caramel leather with Wind Chill paint), comfortable, Highlander. Thank you Toyota and thank you Skeet. The real achievement was sorting through confusion about an aftermarket trailer hitch. I failed to request a factory hitch assuming an aftermarket would work. Near delivery time I found misleading news on the web stating an aftermarket hitch actually doesn't work with the Highlander Limited and Platinum models. Stress! We wanted to bring our bicycles to Tucson! Despite all this I went to see the car and Billy O'Banion, an outstanding employee who is experienced, patient (he listens), knowledgeable, and also an excellent collaborator sorted through the information. He assured me a Toyota factory hitch will work and had it delivered and installed within four days- just before we left. Billy closed the deal at a fair cash price considering the challenging times we live in (Skeet was on vacation). Billy gave an informative tutoring session to operate this unique vehicle. I appreciate his empathy with my anxiety. Gas is now over $4.00/gallon (thanks to Putin's terror) but I'm driving a hybrid that pulls our kayak trailer or our bicycle rack.
