2013 VW Jetta Oil Change and Recall Work I tried Volkswagen of Crystal Lake for the first time after moving to the community. Alan Shapiro was my assigned service representative. I brought th I tried Volkswagen of Crystal Lake for the first time after moving to the community. Alan Shapiro was my assigned service representative. I brought the Jetta in for a scheduled oil change. Alan took the time to do a check for recalls, warranty issues, and service bulletins related to my model and year and found that the steering lock needed to be checked. I mentioned that I was having problems removing my key - they checked, found the part was faulty and replaced it under warranty and now no issues with removing the key! :-) I am extremely pleased with Alan's professionalism, attention to detail, no high pressure sales, etc. 'Appreciated the free wash too!
