He knew what he wanted, but with working 60+ hours each week, he had little time to look. Since I am retired and my wife works part-time, we were able to do the searching for him. We located the car he was after on the Fort Wayne Nissan website and after calling and talking with their Internet Sales Rep. Steve Donnelly, we scheduled an appointment for the following morning to check the car out. When we arrived at the dealership, the car was pre-staged with our name on it, and we were met by Tim Zickmund, the Sales Manager. After a brief conversation, he introduced us to Josh Stein, who served as the Sales Consultant. Both of these gentlemen were very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. After a test drive, my wife and I decided that we wanted to have our mechanic check the car over, but since we live in a small community several miles from Fort Wayne, we were skeptical that they would allow us to do so. We also needed to get the car to our town so that our grandson could see it when he got off from work that evening. Without hesitation, Tim allowed us to bring it to our mechanic (it checked out great) and keep it long enough for our grandson to thoroughly inspect it and test drive it. We literally had the car all day, not getting it back to the dealership until after they had closed that evening. The next morning, we returned and without any pressure, were able to arrive at an agreeable deal for all parties. Two business days later, my grandson took delivery and again, the entire process of car presentation and paperwork transactions were exemplary. We were very happy with Josh Stein and all of his assistance, but it was especially Tim Zickmund that made the entire process, from start to completion, so pleasing. I had been looking at their website for a new vehicle and saw several that I was interested in. I called to see if they were still available before I drove an hour to the dealership. When I got to the dealership, they had the vehicles setting at the front doors. Bryant helped make the buying process easy. Thanks to Fort Wayne Nossan I'm loving my new Rogue! More
I haven't used the service center, I just bought a new truck. So I'll review that experience. The salesman didn't know his product. He had to Google whether the truck had a rear window defogger. Didn't respond to two emails I sent him asking questions. Didn't know what extras came with the truck (ie, cleats for the utilitrack system) and went looking all over the dealership for them while leaving us waiting in the wash bay. The person who smoothed- over all the salesman's screw-ups? Kevin in the wash bay. He's great. Keep him. Channing Williams, in the other hand, needs a very good mentor to teach him how to do his job. Actually, a CHECKLIST for him to use would help him stay on track and dot the i's and cross the t's. I'd recommend the dealership but suggest the speak with Cody or Tim. More
