After trying several parts stores to have a non-functioning headlight repaired, my wife took her 2007 Dodge Calibre to Ft. Collins Dodge. The service department said they would have to replace non-functioning headlight repaired, my wife took her 2007 Dodge Calibre to Ft. Collins Dodge. The service department said they would have to replace the entire wiring harness at a cost of $1250. She refused and took the car to a local automotive shop that had been recommended by a friend. Big Thompson Auto took less than one hour to find the Chrysler service bulletin that said the computer code needed to be reset when replacing a headlight. The cost of the repair was $25.50! Is the service department at Ft. Collins Dodge stupid or are they just a rip-off shop?? More
My wife and I are retired and live in Arizona. We came to visit our son who recently moved to Loveland. On the way to Loveland our brake light came on indicating a problem. I called Ft Collins Dodge Service visit our son who recently moved to Loveland. On the way to Loveland our brake light came on indicating a problem. I called Ft Collins Dodge Service and the possible causes were carefully and thoughtfully explained to me and I scheduled an appointment to see what needed to be done. My Dodge Grand Caravan was seen that morning which really helped, so we could leave the next day to a family gathering in Wyoming. The dealership drove us to and from our son's home. Every person we met at Service there was clearly trying to be as helpful as possible. The mechanical service and outcome were excellent, as the problem was taken care of, and we feel confident to be safely on the road again. My wife and I am extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience at this dealership. Thank you. More

I brought my car in at 7:30am WITH an appointment. By 1:00, hadn't heard from anyone. They asked to call back. Why would I believe they would when they hadn't called to begin with. They were rude, and v 1:00, hadn't heard from anyone. They asked to call back. Why would I believe they would when they hadn't called to begin with. They were rude, and very willing to transfer me everywhere else. When I asked who owned them so I could comment on their lack of service, I got another run around. I would not recommend them for anything! More

He showed us choices on the dealership and explained comming improvments in future years. We told him we wanted one price and would not nagociate. General simple maintanence services were rushed and not completed!I Was relayed to me when I called, how over busy the service department was so they were unsure on how fast they could get to me I actually had to turn around and drive back one time after I noticed something wasn't done. On a couple of occations with both dealerships, was treated as I didnt know what I was talking about when explaining an issue that I was experiecing with my truck ,rather than them just listening and looking into it first off ! Only after I stayed persistant with them to get it figured out, finally realized I was right! They would have sent me home with nothing fixed and not givin it a second thought! I then decided to go to Fort Collins for my future services after loosing faith in the other two.. The service Manager, Mike Rowell, was the first person I spoke to on my first experience at your dealership! I was super impressed on how he talked to me on the phone! He was very polite, explained throughly evey question I asked, never spoke above me, reassured me of what the best route to go with my issues and got me schedualed within a timely manner! I was also impressed how I was treated as a customer when we brought the truck in. Everyone was professional, nice and helpful making sure we were taking care of . I decided that from now on this would be my place of service! I have had to bring my truck back on two other occations since then this year. Both times I have called in a panic of what was wrong with my truck and having a million things going on, limiting me with time and on days to bring my truck in, (as I am sure every other customer has that issue also)! The professional, calm voice once again of the service manager Mike never changed, got me in asap, set me up with a rental when I needed it, again explained everything to detail and just kept the whole event running smoothly even with my self being chaosed and worried! As stressfull as this department has to be most all the time, I never felt like I was rushed, just a number or a bother to anyone. I was treated with complete respect and appreciated, also being recongnized when I walk in the door as a return customer! I to work in public service so I GREATLY appreciate and thank Mike for being patient , keeping me focused and helping my situation be less stressfull , also the service department for thier efficient time and quality of work and building my trust back in getting good service !!!! Brandon Brizendine in sales is also one that I want to say thank you to! I had inquired on the computer about trading in my truck and right away recieved a responce from Brandon! He was very efficient in looking for what I was potentialy interested in! I set up an appointment with Brandon on one of the occations that I had brought my truck in for service! I explained a personal situation to Brandon that I was trying to see what my options were of possibly getting a newer vehicle and if it would bennefit me or not! He researched what he had available that would best fit my needs and explored all the options that would make it as afordable as possible... even after taking quite a bit of time with me and deciding it would be best for me to wait on a purchase, Brandon still made me feel like an appreciated customer and reasurred me that if in the future he would be happy to help me again, not annoyed that he didn't make a sale as some other salesman that took that much time could have been! He is very good with his position at Fort collins crysler jeep dodge! He listens, is quick and is great with customers! I would reccomend Brandon to everyone when they want to purchase a vehicle!! I will defanatly be back when the timming is right to buy a new truck because of Brandon!! Just another note I had contacted two other dealerships about the same thing, only one of them gave me a follow up call but never explored any options, and Brandon is the only one who has continued including me in company emails with running specials at the dealership and so on! Thank you Fort Collins Crysler Jeep Dodge for having an awesome staff in the service and sales departments I was privaleged to be serviced by! Sincerely , Sue Austin Laramie, Wyoming More

At first the experience was pretty good, I had a younger salesman (cannot remember his name) showing me the trucks. He was very friendly and not real pushy. The only problem I had with dealing with him was that he didnt really know much about the ram truck which is not a good sign when you are buying one of the most popular selling trucks there and they cant tell you anything about it without looking at the window sticker to see if it is on there. For example one question I tested him with was "what size heimi v8 do they put in the 2012 Ram 1500?" , he was unable to give me the right size when it even clearly states on the side of the truck "5.7 Hemi". He was not the only one, I would ask other salesmen there questions and they never had a clue either even when I threw out questions about the jeeps also. Clearly the salesman need to be a little more familiar with the vehicles they are trying to sale. After picking out the truck I wanted I then went through financing which was not too bad of an experience. They were detailing my truck while I was waiting. When I received the truck to drive home it was apparent to me that whoever deatailed the truck definently did a very half job as the bottom quarter panels were still dirty and the rims were obviously not even touched with a spounge or rag. The inside was barely vacuumed as well. It looked like it was just ran through a drive through car was and was called good. It was far from an actual detail job. Next I had to drop the truck back of to get the tint and clear bra put on the truck. This is when I figured out no one around there knows how to schedule anything. I dropped it off the morning of the the day they were going to have it done. I never received a phone call that day giving me a update or telling me it was complete. So I drove there and arrived shortly after they closed the service department and found out it is apparently useless to ask anyone there about whats going on because they never have any clue or how to find out for some reason. They just say sorry the service department is closed you will have to come back when there open. So point is they didnt even call me to let me know it wasnt going to be done that day. Thats not all... I quickly figured out my 2012 Ram 1500 I bought from them was making a harmonic humming noise, so since it is under warranty I took it in to get looked at. I purchased the extended warranty so rental car is covered by them, when I proceeded to tell 2 different service managers there that they didnt even believe I had that coverage for some reason and kept saying they would have to check on that. Of course they found out I did after I waited an hour for them to do so and I received the rental car finally. 2 days later they figured out the truck was making the noise due to the way fluid moves throught the transmission cooler lines. They said they needed to send the question on how to fix the problem to the chrysler engineering department for them to come up with a solution. Everytime I ask how long till a solution is figured out they just say they dont know and that it can take a few days to recieve an answer or months. Apparently no one is held accountable around there so they just do things when they want. I myself am a mechanical engineer and have deadlines to meet to solve much larger problems than this one so I find it sad that it can take up to months to solve such a problem. It has been almost a month and a half and still no solution. And I always have to call to check up and they say they will call when they have a solution but of course I know that is far from the truth. I bought this used Ram 1500 as a test to see if this is the dealership my brother and I wanted to start dealing with. My brother owns the Company Rolling Big Power and was looking for a dealership to buy 6 brand new Cummins Turbo deisel trucks from so he could lift and customize them to put into truck shows such as SEMA. He will definently not be buying trucks from them if they keep falling down on everything like they have so far. Thats about $390,000+ in truck purchases Fort Collins Dodge is going to lose if they continue to do such a terrible job. Overall my experience with Fort Collins Dodge,Chrysler, Jeep has been a bad one up to this point. I was hopeing to find my "life long dealership" which would be the place I would always go to buy my trucks and have them serviced but this dealership has already made me want to go else where so hopefully they have a revelation and they change for the better or I will rid myself of them completley. I bought a used car with a sound engine that had hail damage from Will. While a professional upfront appearance was kept, I feel manipulated through the entire process. High Pricing - While coming to damage from Will. While a professional upfront appearance was kept, I feel manipulated through the entire process. High Pricing - While coming to terms Will showed me a paper with the NADA retail value. Unknown to me at the time, this was about $200 below the actual NADA retail value of an undamaged car. Awful Financing - I signed my name to terms of a fixed price and lowering the interest rate my bank had offered me if I financed through them. Once the financing went through the interest never changed and I tried working with Steve to correct the situation by getting the loan back to my bank and refunding me the difference but the refund never actually happened. Terrible Quality - Will told me he would thoroughly detail the car and have them look at the headlight that wasn't working. I asked about the headlight after they detailed and he banged his hand on it, the light came on and he said the mechanics wouldn't need to look at it. The next day I found trash beneath the seats, coffee splashes on the dash and windshield and dirty uncleaned cup holders. Bad Service - After I was unhappy with the car purchase and unfulfilled promises Steve said he would be willing to exchange it for a different car. When I talked to Will next, it meant valuing it as a trade more than 25% below the purchase price. When I arrived to look at the cars Will said available, they were never actually at the lot. He said the first had been sold and the second wouldn't work; he later retracted this saying the first wouldn't work and the second had been sold. I would never do business with Fort Collins Dodge Chrysler Jeep again, and refrain from anyone doing the same. More
