We bought a used car (not a Jeep) a few weeks ago for our kids to drive from Jeep in Fort Collins. Within a week, we had a message that there was an issue that required service. It turns out that this used kids to drive from Jeep in Fort Collins. Within a week, we had a message that there was an issue that required service. It turns out that this used vehicle was leaking coolant into the cylinders and would require a motor replacement due to a design flaw. This would cost $10,000!!! We immediately took the car back to Jeep so they could verify the findings. As you know, when you buy a used car, it is an "As is" deal. We figured we were SOL. Amazingly, we received a call from General Manager, Steve Hardy and he was willing to help us either fix the first car or trade it for another car. We subsequently returned to the dealership and he made us a great deal on a better car. Car dealerships tend to have a slimy reputation, but Steve Hardy now has us as customers for life. There are still upstanding, honest business people out there! More
