Mr. Sill, I am very sorry the vehicle you purchased from did not meet your expections. We strive to do our very best in offering our clients the best value in certified pre-owned automobiles possible. Please take into consideration that even though our vehicles may look new, they are in fact used cars. The vehicle you purchased from us is a 1 owner, 8 year old car and even though it is in exceptional condition for its age, unexpected minor issues along the way caused by normal usage may occur. As soon as I learned of your discontent, I contacted you immediately to offer my best service in listening to your concerns. At the time, you mentioned that you were having a small issue while putting fuel into the car because the nozzle at the gas station would keep on clicking off as you refueled the car. Even though the vehicle would take fuel, it would take you longer than normal to refuel the vehicle. Since you are an out of state customer, I kindly asked you to have the vehicle checked out and to get back to me with the diagnosis. Once we learned that the repair was no more than $285 ($25 part + labor), I happily offered to assist in paying for half of the repair cost. I am sorry to hear that you did not accept our attempt to provide you with assistance for an unexpected cost. It is quite apparent, there was no way our certification inspection could have detected or predicted the part failure. My company absolutely takes great pride in making sure that each and every vehicle we sell is a high quality pre-owned car and I feel 100% confident that the vehicle you purchased met the highest standards of what a quality pre-owned vehicle should be.
