I was considering turning my Jeep, Wrangler in and I was not sure what brand or even make of a new motor vehicle I wanted or could afford. I knew I wanted a four wheel drive. I had stopped by one other dealership in Massachusetts and got the run around, and several phone calls. I bought at the Ford of Londonderry initial because of the salesperson. He discussed a fair price for the trade in I had and for the Ford, Escape that I bought. If he and the Sales Manager did not act as professional as they did and discuss the sale in the way that they did I would have probably waited, and may not have bought a new motor vehicle. They were very professional,helpful, and fair. I am not someone who has always had a great experience at a car dealership, so for me to give them a five star rating really means something. The advertised price on the car was VERY competetive and the first dealer offer was right in the ball park. There was very little negotation involved because of the fair first offer whcih was a far cry from the usual back and forth negotiating that makes car buying a real hassle in my opinion. When I picked up the car all the issues I raised at the time of the sales were address and the time Jeff spent with me going over some of the features of the car were greatly appreciated. When my wife and I stopped by Ford of Londonderry we were actually on the way to the local Toyota dealer to look at the RAV-4. We had intended to swing through the Ford and GM dealerships on the way just to see what being offered. I was dreading the thought of buying a new car. My last experience buying a new truck was less than enjoyable which in the end left a sour taste in my mouth. Dealing with Tom Doyle, in my opinion made my experience of buying a new vehicle a favorable one. Tom was very knowledgeable about the different models and gave clear explanations of the various options and functions of the vehicles we looked at. One thing I liked was not feeling pressured and never once did I hear "How much do you want to spend. I had made up my mind prior to stopping at the dealer that if I became involved with a pushy salesman I would walk away and deal with another dealership. Tom let us lead him to what we were looking for instead of the other way around as I've experienced in the past. He listened to our ideas of what it was we needed (key word being "needed") in a car and didn't try to push us into anything we felt to be a waste. He was able to address our concerns with safety, durability and reliability as we'll as educate us about how technology has been integrated into today’s vehicles. Although there were several factor that contributed to our purchasing a new car, Toms involvement and professional attitude certainly played into the decision of making our purchase at Ford of Londonderry.
