I just wanted to leave a few words about our buying experience yesterday. We've had some challenges with our credit over the years which resulted in a chapter 7 ultimately. I got connected to Ford Coun experience yesterday. We've had some challenges with our credit over the years which resulted in a chapter 7 ultimately. I got connected to Ford Country by a company called Tidewater, who connected me to Chad Wellborn, a specialist when it comes to these things. Unlike other sales folks, Chad LISTENED to us, took down some information, and gave us the tools to find our next vehicle. Less than 24 hours later he called us with an approval and for the car we wanted, with no money down and opportunity to add an extended warranty. When we came to the dealership, he had the car pulled out and washed, all the paperwork was ready for signing and facilitated our test drives. I say this plural because we had our two year old with us, who was also treated like a king at the dealership, and we needed to take turns test driving the car so one of us could stay with him. After our test drive confirmed the love we had for this 2019 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate, we went in, signed and spoke with Ryan, the finance manager, got our extended warranty and were on our way in less than 90 minutes. That was the best purchasing experience we ever had. From someone who once had a bad experience YEARS AGO at this same lot, they have done a tremendous job at becoming top notch when it comes to customer service. We have a 2018 Ford Edge. The service department advised us that the battery, which had died on us, was covered under our factory warranty and that Ford would have the vehicle towed to the dealership by roa us that the battery, which had died on us, was covered under our factory warranty and that Ford would have the vehicle towed to the dealership by roadside assistance. The service department replaced the battery and a service was performed the next day. Daniel Lopez was the service department advisor that oversaw the battery issue and oil change service. He was pleasant and personable to work with. He gave us a step-by-step account of how Ford would honor our warranty and towing process. He is easy to like and represents the Ford Motor Company well.
