Very happy with Chris Avalos. He listen to my questions and seemed very knowledgeable in his responses to my questions. I appreciated his recommendations and suggestions. I will d He listen to my questions and seemed very knowledgeable in his responses to my questions. I appreciated his recommendations and suggestions. I will definitely request his during my next service appointment. I was disappointed in wait time to check in. My appointment was at 7am. I don’t think I had a representative checking me in until maybe 7:45am. I don’t recall ever having to wait that long to check in. Hopefully was a fluke. More
I have 21/2-year-old Prius. I have had it serviced at Folsom Lake Toyota since purchase. All contact until today was positive. My initial service representative left so I do I have had it serviced at Folsom Lake Toyota since purchase. All contact until today was positive. My initial service representative left so I do not have someone I see each time. My last service was December, but we have only driven 2,300 miles since. The you need a service pops up on the screen about the time I get an email saying come in for a complimentary service. Surprised to get it as I thought the complimentary services were through. A few weeks later I get another email saying I have a complimentary service, so I think why not? I made my appointment for Saturday July 6th. I arrive on time and wait in line almost out of the dealership lot. A tech comes by and tells me and others that they are overbooked, and it will be a long wait. I decide to leave. Arranging for a service is always minimally inconvenient but problems happen. I make a new appointment for July 11th. I am assigned a representative named Anh Vo. He is not available when I arrive but comes in about 5 mins. We go to the office, and he writes up my work order for a service. I ask him if he is aware I have a complimentary service. He says I do not have a complimentary service as I have used all my free services. I ask why I got an email telling me I had a complimentary service. He replies it sent automatically. I reply what does that have to do with anything. We go back forth as I look for apology for a bogus offer and he suggests why didn’t I read the offer. (I did). He essentially implies I am stupid for believing the offer for a free service. At this point I am irate. If this is being sent to others who do qualify which is what I understand from his causal remark it is called “bait and switch.” It is illegal. I became angry swore and left stating they have lost a customer. Upon my swearing and declaration Vo stated they do want customers like me. Had I not gotten the offer for the free service I would have had a normal service which I would have paid for. No problem. I do like businesses to represent something and not deliver especially when the representative claims it is my fault for believing them. More
